  6. Well it does look like there was a bit of wind, maybe a stray microburst? Have you checked to see if there was siesmic activity in your area around that time? I'm just guessing here. If you'll look at my pic, the rest is pretty sharp too, you can tell who everyone is and what they were wearing. I'm not saying it's camera movement for sure, because I don't know exactly what it is. It just looks similar to camera movement.
  7. That there is one of them Unidentified Flyin' UFO's!!! Are you sure you didn't bump or wiggle your tripod?... kinda like in this pic...
  8. Excellent report and pics!!!
  9. Whenever you feel that buzzing in your rod, you're supposed to lay it down in the bottom of the boat, sit down and put your head between your knees... ... so you can kiss your good-bye!!!

  19. Oh what a big fibber you are!!! Everyone knows Gobies are highly toxic to Smallies and they won't hardly touch them... and will be dead in seconds after ingesting one. ... so what were you really using??? Great report and pic!!!

  21. Nice report, pics and fish!!! I like the Buglemouth Bass in the first pic!
  22. I have my best luck shore fishing for Bass around/off of deep water rip rap covered slopes... bridges, causeways, and dams. Bass hang around these places because of the minnows that feed on the algae on the rocks and the Crawdads that hide in the rocks. Light spinning tackle, light line, and inline spinners work best. Keep moving until you find the fish.
  23. I was just ribbin' ya about the words John, they were eloquent and well writtin'! The next time the "stuff" cries out for worms and you think there might be a Largie in there... throw the Lizard! I don't think the Smallies like Lizards too much, but a Largie will eat one in a heartbeat in hot weather!!! We don't care what size the fish are in the pics... heck! I'll look at a pic of the minnows you caught in the trap!!! (we like dog pics too!)
  24. Leavin' the camera at the house will catch you a big'un quicker than anything!!!... of course we don't believe ya... Congrats on the new PB!
  25. Too much caffeine JohnF??? More pics... less talk! ... remember! 1 pic is worth a thousand words!!! I gotta admit, I read the whole thing (from the bottom up!) It sounds like y'all had a great day!... and those inline spinners do kick Did you perchance try a plastic Lizard?... weightless in the weeds with your spinning rod next time eh? More visual aids please!
