  2. Agree 100% , my nephew is a US marine (Staff Seargeant) with three tours of duty in Iraq, he is home now, and my father is World War II vet, he is 89 and I am very proud of them both ... nothing greater than to serve for your Country .. IMO

    MNR

I stand corrected ... taxpayers money either way you look at it ... everyone thinks that outsourcing is the answer, not so sure about that ...

    MNR

With all the discussions here about better enforcement of the rules, the MNR is reducing again ... not sure how this will affect all the issues regarding better enforcement, but still it makes you wonder why ? the Provincial government flagarantly wastes taxpayers money on things like ORNGE and the Gun registry and meanwhile our natural resources get screwed ... http://www.haliburtonecho.ca/2012/07/03/scott-preparing-for-possible-mnr-office-closures
  12. I havn't used my flyrod in several years and am getting back into it this summer. We are renting a cottage up in Haliburton in a few weeks and was planning on practising my rusty casts from the dock early morning and late evening. What were you using for the bass ? most of my stuff is for smaller trout... I have a few streamers but no poppers, I have seen foam style poppers on the market.
