  1. Depends how heavy the battery is, small 2 wheel dolly with larger diameter wheels or the old style military 64 pattern rucksack with the metal shelf to carry gerry cans.
  2. Unless I'm not reading this right, "Collins Drive Boat Launch parking lot (425 Collins Dr.) and the surrounding streets of Collins Drive, MacIsaac Drive, and Rodger Road (see Key Map). "There is no fee or permit required to park without a boat trailer in those locations," even though the map says otherwise. So what's the point of this. Collins Dr. has no parking signs there now. So you can park a vehicle there without a fee, are you going swimming to catch fish. I really wonder what they're having for breakfast, sure as hell can't be Smarties. I can imagine if people park on the mentioned streets with trailers, the will be a lot of phone calls, streets are not that wide.
  3. Update. Took a ride up to Orillia this morning, first stop Trombly's, hmm, open at 8 for Saturday, 10 on Sundays, must only have "afternoon anglers" on weekends. Rest of the week, it's 9am. Didn't ask how much, didn't want to suffer a Schwarzennegger size tumour. Then off to Fisherman's Cove, docks in, water seems a bit high. There's room to park 8, maybe 9 truck/trailers. Everywhere else along that loop and street has the big No Parky, ticky zone. Off across the highway to Thudhope Park, unless my eyes deceived me, I didn't see any pay parking signs or ticket dispensers. Then off to Centennial Park, disaster, closed completely for construction. I didn't go to any of the marina's like blue Beacon to check for launch and park/fees. That's up to you. As for Jacob's Bait on 11N, it sort of looks deserted, up to you to find out. Cheers and hope for those that go, have fun.
  4. I remember when I got my new boat in '96, first ride was just a test ride in K Bay, 2nd ride went to Orillia, caught a $1000 perch and the wife got a dishwasher, now that's a happy wife, happy life. I may take a recce run up there to see what the parking and launching is like, haven't been there for about 4-5 years.
  5. Looks like it's come back to life. https://www.orillia.com/perchfestival
  6. When you first open a new topic, look at the bottom of the rectangle, there's a underlined "choose files". Click on that, it will open your pictures file. Click on the picture, hold the mouse button down and drag it to the bottom of the rectangle, there will be a dotted square, drag it there and let go of the mouse button. Done.
  7. I don't know how much psi is needed otherwise you might blow out the remaining seal that's still ok. Just a guess but no more than 10 psi, like Terry mentioned there's no real pressure buildup on the inside.
  8. If there's no pressure, maybe not. Might be a really good idea to do a pressure test on it to lay that idea to rest.
  9. I really wouldn't try that in a boat motor, maybe the lawnmower. What can go wrong if your lawnmower quits half way through cutting, 2 layered lawn. In a boat, hmm, better not need to row, row row your boat and then do a fuel system fix. A few years back, I used the blue marine stabil in a can of gas, next spring there was a massive blue "jello" blob in the bottom of the gas can. Never again.
  10. And if you can't remember how it all came apart, take pictures and lay items out left to right so they go back together in backwards order.
  11. Not to sound evil but here's the proof that maintenance has to be done before putting things away. At worst, I hope for your sake the water in the mix didn't get to freeze, expand and cause cracks/splits in the lower housing. The same goes for pulling wheel bearings in the fall, sitting with hubs full of water isn't good either. Lesson learned.
  12. Hey, I recognize those tires, lol, motors waiting.
  13. Getting close, another day or two with these winds and it will crumple pretty quick.
  14. Put the link in your favourites, then you can look. https://worldview.earthdata.nasa.gov/?v=-80.63815285419105,43.338141345236636,-78.14865090106605,45.39995329052586&t=2023-04-08-T00%3A32%3A15Z
  15. MinnKota Traxxis 45, 45 lb thrust, 36" shaft, electronic variable speed, extendable and tilt handle. Used 3 times, stored in original box. I can't carry the batteries around anymore, someone else may as well get use of it. $200. cash, first come, first served, no holds.
  16. MinnKota Traxxis 45 lb thrust, 36" shaft, variable speed. Used twice stored in original box. I can't hump the batteries around anymore. $200, first come first served, cash only.
  17. Do you have any room to move the winch stand forward and give the transom more support. Maybe a set of 12 inch tires wouldn't hurt either, they run smoother than the little donuts.
  18. Call St Johns first aid and see what their recommendation is.
  19. Jeez for that price you could have a trolling monkey to pilot the boat. If you wonder what a trolling monkey is, is related to a trunk monkey.
  20. Spring has sprung, ducks, geese, swans, starlings, blackbirds and finally heard the chirp of a robin sitting in the tree.
  21. I can't write what I'm thinking, Brian would have to lock me up in OFC jail. There's all sorts of thicknesses available at Princes Auto.
  22. That looks like a twin to my '09 550. Excellent reliable machine, never been back to the dealer, one battery and a set of tires.
