Well at least he using the fan cast method.

Linkage problem. Like Moxie said.
-
Read this again, now I'm wondering what you mean? You mean it runs "wide open" full rpm or it only runs bad with the throttle full open?
-
Normally any motor will not run wide open unless the throttle linkage is undone/loose allowing the butterflys(throttle plates) to be wide open. I highly doubt the stabilizer had anything to do with the smoking unless you mean fogging oil, that stuff stinks like

Remembrance Day, we must also remember this

The sad part with a lot of these scenarios is that one person is responsible for the demise of many others. Edmund Fitzgerald, make money running iron ore at all costs to get there on time regardless of conditions. Titanic, lets break the speed record ..sad. -
What sbould a gas fireplace insert cost me?
Fisherman replied to Cast-Away's topic in General Discussion
If you're going with a wood burner, it may be wise to call your house insurance first. You might be surprised at the increased cost of insurance, for me it wasn't worth it at all. I couldn't even come close to recouping the cost of the stove and chimney over many years. Last year my gas cost just under $550 for the whole year, included furnace, hot water, gas dryer, BBQ and separate garage. Garage was kept at about 40F. We're paying about 8.8 cents/cubic metre. -
There's no hidden "SS" there, that's the way it's written. There are other branches that have the "SS" engraved.

And where are you seeing this?

Heck there's no cars up there, how do you torque the nuts on a dog sleigh..

This has to be one of the most repeated questions and should be a sticky somewhere so the curious can maintain their batteries properly. Most answers are opinions and we all know about them, they're like and some can stink pretty bad. It has been said many times that most batteries are destroyed, mostly by neglect and users being unaware of what happens to them. Without cutting and pasting the whole article(there are many, simply google battery sulfation), here is just a small excerpt: http://www.boatelectric.com/sulfation.htm The worst sulfated battery can be created by just leaving a battery unattended for a long period of time. A battery is like a bucket with a tiny hole. Electricity leaks little by little through what is called "natural discharge". It may take three to six months to drain a battery completely, and sulfation created in this process is quite possibly the worst kind. For deep cycle batteries used in Renewable Energy, Marine and RV applications, sulfation buildup is a real problem because these batteries are not regularly charged to their full capacity. Do yourself a favour, get a battery maintainer such as the CTEK from CDN Tire or Battery Minder from VDC Electronics and let them keep the battery in its best condition. I know, they cost money, how much does throwing a battery out every couple years cost. They take pennies worth of electricity during the off season, maybe 1% of the cost of a new battery. My boat battery is over 9 years, my last RV battery lasted me 11, I must be doing something right. Don't be the doofus that pulls up the boat ramp with a dead battery and says well I charged it last fall. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone who made earlier replies, just trying to help you avoid blowing money on batteries when you could be buying more fishing gear.

I'll have to say the weekend weather didn't help at all this fall, downright miserable at times, I'm hoping maybe next week during the week on afternoon shift. Want to give the boat one more burst before winterizing.

I'd just tighten their nuts a bit, never mind beating them..

Well maybe your buddy needs a work out and apply a bit of wax to the bars to make them slide easier. They are above quality when it comes to Clam and Fragile.

I Was Almost A Casualty Of Last Nights Storm

Damm right they are, especially the ones that dingbat across the road used to feed 50lb bags of peanuts to. -
I had to pay to send mine there, no problem, plus the cost of the upgrade plus their return shipping charge which was to cover it back to my door plus the rediculous UPS shipping charge they claimed they didn't know about...but they used UPS shipping, ya right.
-
That's because you live south of the border, try living up here and getting any service or satisfaction from them. Then wait til they rape you with the shipping charges. Sorry but I'll never buy another Marcus product again.

Times 3, plus about 1/3rd of the cost.

After so many times per hour per day, it's slowly getting on my nerves, the storms coming. What-ever. You live by the sea, you get wet, you like in a quake zone, you'll get rattled and oh ya, we live in the snow zone, just can't wait for that to start again.

Back in the years before the limit came out for perch, there were motorhomes equipped with multiple freezers, electric fish cleaning drums, etc that sat at the Narrows in Atherley in the campground by the bridge. Those loaded freezers went south and made a healthy profit from our resources. Nowadays without naming anyone/race/etc, fish get gutted, ground up and fish burgers/soup are made from them. Maybe that's why we need limits, but definitely not the other solution.

You've been drinking that special Whitby water again haven't you.

Fish farmed fish tastes like alfalfa, and, probably has some amount of antibiotics that we don't need, leave it alone, you sound like one of the ones where beef is grown at the back of the supermarket.

I just bet Lews boat is jealous he spent so much money on a new truck.
-
I had one for a couple of years, they work well. The display is more along the lines of a regular LCD graph rather than the rotating rainbow headache. They have a very good separation distance and will pick up the smallest of jigs in deep water.
