OUCH!! $4,000 in Fines and Two-Year Suspension for Fishing Violations
Fisherman replied to TJQ's topic in Fishing News
If they can research all the info to come up here to fish, 5 minutes on the MNRF website can give them all the answers. I'm also sure that the local place they stay at would clue them inn too. But again, snub your nose, wait for a punch in the nose from The Judge and you better hope it's not Judge Judy. What's worse than them catching a big pile of fish, they often leave their unmarked nets full of fish to rot. Keepers of the land..not. -
I would try CLR, probably several applications, no scrubbing otherwise the paint may go too.
-
Ya better to look in the store first if you can.

Yes but are they Transport Canada approved?

OUCH!! $4,000 in Fines and Two-Year Suspension for Fishing Violations

No, that is not harsh, it's designed to punish those that consistently thumb their noses at our regulations. Called get with the program. -
Well you can go here: https://www.lakesimcoeoutdoors.com/forums/index.php?showforum=24

What size motor? Anything under 10 HP I wouldn't, anything over that it can start to wreak hell with the shoulder.

Owen Sound east side launch. However, I would take note of the wind forecast tomorrow. https://www.ventusky.com/?p=44.47;-79.85;7&l=wind-100m&t=20220724/0900

Pickles, no, they're baby cucumbers. I'm sure a lot would misidentify pickeral.

Honda doesn't make batteries, Yuasa does. You can go cheap and probably have to replace it again in 3-4 years or you buy a good one and get another 8-9 years. Royal Distributing has the OEM for a decent price. https://www.royaldistributing.com/yuasa-battery-ytx14-Bull.html Remember when you're in the middle of butt fart nowhere, you turn the key and hear in a weakening tone, No no no no, click, click, lol.

Only if you change your address or other pertinent info listed on the paper. Otherwise you're good.

I've found that the fish can go on a crazy feeding frenzy pre storm.

My take on this, if your going to actively going to catch OOS or only catch and release, then all you're doing is puffing up our own ego.

Anyone tried aluminum hull repair with aluminum rods ?
Fisherman replied to Raycaster's topic in General Discussion
Bingo, I did, 2 boats. One on a 12' where unfortunately the battery tipped over and the 2 posts burned a couple 1 inch holes right through the hull. The other 14' was from the sharp edge of an anchor that was rubbing and bouncing around about a 2 inch "slot", almost 1/2 inch wide. You have to follow the directions to a "T", no using steel wool pads, sandpaper, not aluminum oxide and not iron or brass brushes. Only use the small stainless steel brushes you can get at PA. Wipe down with alcohol, no gas or paint thinner. Then heat on an angle with a propane torch, I used the MAPP gas cylinder, gets a little warmer. Don't try to melt the sticks with the torch, you have to "feed" them into the edges of the holes or cracks. The 12 foot was easy working upside down, the 14 foot I worked from the inside of the floor to build it back up. Never developed any cracks or leaks. Heck I even welded an old aluminum short 2 step ladder back together. It's amazing how strong that stuff is. If you can, practice on a couple pieces of aluminum and maybe a beer can. -
not 1 not 2 but 4 dealers replied I can't make this up
Fisherman replied to chessy's topic in General Discussion
Well I guess you have to thank an engineer for that oversight. -

Must be a rubber device that allows the prop to rotate when hitting something. -

Well I would say this will make some negative advertising for Merc. I would rather row than ride in front of a Merc. -
Glad it worked out for you Spiel, it put an aroma in the house you just start drooling, lol.
-
Being a 4 stroke it should still have enough oil lubing it. Burning the top of the piston, entirely possible. Unfortunately it's a Merc and we all know they make good anchors.
-
2 stroke, yes change the plugs.
-
Found this on Walleye Central, I have problems believing it though. Good results for Four-Strokes should be 180-210 PSI, and Two-Strokes should be around 110-130 PSI.

Either a pair of 3500lb axles, one pair with brakes or a 5200lb axle with brakes. If it was me I would go dual axle, they tend to float better over rough roads and don't bounce as much as a single.
-
#1, what does the the boat, motors, batteries, gas and equipment weigh? From there you can safely look at a more robust axle, springs and tires. What weight are the old tires rated for? How old were they. There's lot of unanswered Q's.

I got mine from Praxair in Barrie, but most of those places that carry compressed gasses like O2 acetylene, etc will have it.

So that's how all those tarps get up in the trees, lol.
