We did find 1 3lb pike but no eyes! Steve, when we came over for MoeZ tour, we did find one lone fisherman....40pouder 1/2 mt in one hand, ice rod in the other. The action on the end of the rod must have been killer cause it was quite the effort to keep himself steady as it was!!! Great Weekend! Moe Z Girls Rock!!

Hey Steve; We were neighbours this weekend. Dave was by our hut for a pint, showin off his whitey pic! Looked for you guys Sat. night for a trip to the Moe Z but everyone was "Done".... fishing by 9pm! Must have had a great day for sure~! Hopefully next trip you can make the Moe Z tour!!!! A nice rod for the newcomer ...Fenwick HMX....not too expensive and will do the trick. Its no GLoomis but 1/2 the cash too

I bought the Okuma last year, light reel and very reasonably priced. Save your 200 bucks towards a nice rod!

Is the rf35 sold at BPS? My wife was looking for a xmas gift for me, says they have a model there but does not come with the wrist watch display, rod mount only. I thought the rf35 had both? BPS sells a model for 150 bucks, EXTRA or REPLACEMENT TRANSDUCERS are sold there for around 30 bucks. Told the battery should shut dowm when out of the water. Also says on the box, not to be usd in below freeezing temps. Not good if you plan to use them for searching steelies on a winter drift!!!!
