One trick I learned from an old time fisherman,...he did this to his smallies but works for all fish. Once the fish is cleaned, put the beauti white fillets in a large bowl filled with cold water and 2-3 tblspns of salt. Swish the fillets around for 2-3 minutes and watch the water turn brown~! Rinse fillets under cold water tap and your done. Pulls all of the dirt out of the already cleaned white fillets...try it you would be surprised!!!

Plan on the future too thou, go look at a blue ray tv by sony...if you need a tv now, then thats your best route..if you can, wait 6-10 more months till the BluRay's start to come down a wee bit in price!~ my 2 cents Diss

For those of you who are concidering giving it up..you may think its the hardest thing to do but ITS NOT..REALLY!! Do yourself a favor.....dont think of it as quitting. Go and get Alan Carr's book. (VERY EASY READ TOO!!) Smoke WHILE you are reading it. Concider it just a good read..not as a stop smoking attempt. I betcha you dont even finish the open pack of smokes you have.... even BEFORE you finish the book!!! ITS REALLY THAT EASY!!!! FYI ..I HAD the "big C" and continued to smoke!! (what the heck ..I know ) Even smoked after given the "ALL CLEAR"....BUT ....after reading the book...Im now good to go!!! Diss,

Wow, you guys know the Lake! Sweet Catch. F.Y.I. Just wanted to mention another new fishing board you might like to check out! Im sure they could learn a thing or two from you guys!! http://www.gofishont.com/ This board concentrates on Lake Simcoe, but does have info on other fine fishing locals. It is fairly new to the scene, (actually a spin off from another old board) and "Mike S" the Admin has put a lot of work into this project. Quite a nice set up. Great bunch of members already on board who are more than helpful with "general locals", fishing tips and how to's. Same caliber of members as this board..really nice people, no real attitudes and a people with a touch of Class. : Drop in, introduce yourself and have fun.
