  1. Anyone up to it?
  2. Great Pictures! It looks like a prehistoric forest. Fishy, fishy in the brook?
  3. LOL, enough lead on that lure to use for an anchor.
  4. Dieseil fuel tends to be dirtier than gas and collects moisture easierm most trucks (tractor trailers) have a fuel filter on them as large or larger than a cars oil filter. Ever try to clean greasey parts with diesel fuel? it doesn`t work, too much like oil, won`t cut the grease. It is more like home heating oil than gas. Probably a small quantiy mixed with gas wouldn`t hurt, but I don`t see it helping clean injectors. Might add some lubricity, gas is a drier fuel.
  5. Nice fish Blake!
  6. Great pictures and report Johnny.
  7. Did you see this? http://www.canada.com/topics/news/world/st...320&k=40299
  8. Great picture TJ, I have heard stories but no pictures before. Guess anything smaller qualifies as food.
  9. Good work Glenn, what is a tuffie? Fathead minnow?
  10. LOL one lure? I am cheap but not that cheap! Either of the first two is a good starting point.
  11. http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/bassboard/rods_reels/T42352.htm Just opinions on the differences between Curado and Cicita
  12. Cool! Never been in a plane but I like seeing them.
  13. I have caught 4 pound or so walleye on braided dacron that would about jerk the rod out of your hand. My brother used wire and said it is worse, you need a lighter action rod? I have trolled for walleye and smallies on Lake Erie using 8 and 10# mono, nothing much for them to get into so it was heavy enough. Never used dipseys or down riggers. Guess a lot would depend on what I was trolling for, used 17 to 20 pound up north for pike, lost skis on it.
  14. Thanks Solo the info I am getting is that number is a 4 inch u-tail worm.
  15. Lew I looked at most of the bigger websites and have a good selection of catalogs. I didn`t see that color in grubs, some had them in worms and other baits. Sort of a second hand search, well third hand, I am doing it for a friend of a friend. Not even a clue what he wants to use them for.
  16. I am looking for a 3 inch grub in Cherry Seed color for a friend that isn`t on-line. I can`t seem to find any one that has them. Any clues? Thanks! LOL Cherry Seed?
  17. Yes hats off some pretty bad fires over there, they need the help.
  18. I don`t think one answer would fit, sometimes covers it best. The water here in Ohio and up there really doesn`t get warm enough to be outside a bass`s normal comfort range. I have caught L/M 20 feet down in September on the Georgian, after getting up to ice on the edges of the bait bucket. Also got them in 2 feet at other times mid-day in the summer, same here. Water temp was still in the comfort zone for them, all I can see as a reason is food supply, bait fish moved, they followed. Just my opinion, you limit yourself if you only fish where you expect to find them. You need to be able to cover a variety of depths, bass can be unreliable. At night I usually fish shallow, the edges, less than 10 feet. Just easier to stay on targets though. Daytime I will hit areas shallow and deep. Smallies on Erie mid-summer I never wasted time shallow 15-25 first, then deeper.
  19. Rick, believe it or not they steal Catalytic converters down here, usually from car dealerships. A cordless sawzall and take 10 or 15 at a time. Some of them are very pricey? A good mechanic is hard to find, reasonably priced one even harder.
  20. Dang! Pancho and Lefty? Roy Willey did it better! LOL Clevelands cold? Go North! <((((< http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPMxJROHInM...ted&search=

  22. Congrats to you and your wife Kirk, dang half grown already!
  23. Great pictures and report! Are those real lake names? LOL August in Ontario, a parka? Nice fish!
  24. Glen, no idea why but most of the lizards and worms for sale in this area are Zoom, I doubt the brand matters.
