Hey everyone, Just wondering if anyone knows where I could get a DVD about the spawning habits of Canadian Trout or Salmon? My "cousin-in-law" is over from the Netherlands, and is fascinated with the trout/salmon coming up stream to spawn, and I would like to get him a DVD to go home with before he leaves in a few weeks that is a documentary-type about them. Anyone have an idea if these are available, if yes...where could I get one? Thanks in advance. *Stoty

I have had Vonage for the past year or so, and its great. No issues so far. But ya, no power = no phone. Really cool feature is my voicemails are automatically emailed to me, so I can get them anywhere. You can also bring your phone with you to anywhere that has high-speed, which is kinda cool.

How can you not see it??? How can they charge $1.29/L when a barrel is worth $140ish a few weeks ago....YET... still sell it today with a barrel being worth $91ish. Explain how thats not "bending people over" and taking advantage of "Supply & Demand"??

There a big difference between making "more money" and "bending people over".

Basically, its just a bunch of Bull. Two words sum it all up..... Supply & Demand. The gas companies know we HAVE to have gas, therefore can charge $1.38/L and we will pay it. Heck, they can charge $2.00/L and we are still going to pay that. Until a whole bunch of people take a stand and don't buy guys for a while, nothing will change. I just dont know how certain people can sleep at night knowing they are bending everyone in Canada over each time we go to the pumps. How can you be alright with charging people the same price per litre today, when a barrel is worth $91, as you did a few weeks back when it was $140ish a barrel? Its obvious that its gouging....but no one is doing a darn thing about it.

I would think the rainbows would be alive. Especially with all those other species in there, they would have lots to feed on. Depending on the time of year, will dictate their location. Spring/Fall they will be shallower than the summer. Try a jigging spoon deep in the summer. As for the bass, if your catching a lot of little ones, I would recommend using bigger baits. Maybe try the 10+inch worms, big flipping jigs, etc. Maybe try large live minnows.

Hey Peter, I have built quite a few custom rods both for myself and for others. If this is your first time, I recommend getting a kit that has everything you need. (blank, guides, handle assembly, epoxy, etc). Once you get the hang of it after a rod or two, then you can custom order parts to build a rod to your liking.
