  2. Thanks guys! It was Rice Lake
  3. Well, I finally made it out for some bass yesterday morning!! The fishing was abnormally bad (only boated two fish) but one of them was a big bite! 4 lb 6 oz smallmouth taken in about 3 feet of water! Measured in at 21.25". Entered into the tourny for Team 9!
  4. That a boy Reefrunner! Our team needs all the inches we can get right about now. I am hoping to add some when I go out tomorrow to Rice Lake. My buddy is up from Ohio, and we will be fishing in his Ranger......mmmmmmm....Ranger...... Keep up the good work! Maybe we can get out together one of these days!
  5. Not surprised....yet another abuse of power..... This happened to a Cobourg cop as well. Pathetic.
  6. Exactly, thats what I was going to say. I have the 522iGPS with a Navionics Gold chip, and it does the same if I zoom too quickly.
  7. THanks for the help guys. I have fished Sand before, but a few years back. I have paper depth charts, was just hoping to utilize the GPS.
  8. Thank Roy. Thats where I am staying actually. I have paper maps of the lake, I was just hoping that it was on my GPS. Thats disappointing.
  9. Hey everyone, Since my boat is at the cottage, I dont have a way of checking if Sand Lake (just north of Kingston) is on my chip. If its not, is there anyway to download it? I have a Lowrance 522iGPS. Thanks, *Stoty
  10. AMEN BROTHER! I swear by Chug Bugs.
  11. "It's late.....I'm drunk....You'll do!"
  12. Try ebay... Thundersticks Are you looking for the perch pattern or the firetiger pattern? I believe thats the firetiger pattern in the picture.
  13. hahha, never though of that!
  14. I just got word today that my current employment contract will not be renewed and will end next Friday. Nice of them to do to me when just 2 weeks ago I was told that I would be pretty much guaranteed to be extended until at least August, with the strong possibility of being hired into a permanent position. Needless to say, they gave me a LITTLE less notice then they said they would in the case of my contract not being renewed. Anyone know of a place who is looking for a Web Developer?? Or anyone need a website done? Any help is much appreciated.
  15. oh...sorry, I missed Reefrunners post.....since he is on my team...I will let it slide! haha
  16. im in....i live in pickering and work downtown TO just tell me when/where
  17. Thanks very much, I will check those out!
  18. Hey everyone, I am looking for a large Rod Building supplier on the web that is Canadian based. I have found quite a few that are based in the states, but with the cost of shipping, its not worth it to order from them. Anyone know of a mudhole.com type site from Canada? Thanks, *Stoty
  19. I agree with Reefrunner. Try to find some "irregular" spots in the deeper water. Humps on bottom that might only rise/drop 3-4 feet, small rocky shoals, where 2 different bottoms mix...etc. Anything "different" in the deeper water should hold the biggest bass that time of the year.

    JOBS

Web Developer for TD Bank. I am responsible for the maintenance of their 4 major websites. TD.com, TDCanadaTrust.com, TDCommercialBanking.com and TDWaterhouse.com. So needless to say, I am a tad busy. Great money, so cant complain there. I also have a Web Development business on the side (Stoty.com Web Solutions).
  21. Thanks, I will look at that one. Cheers, *Stoty
  22. Here is the policy from the site... However, we can ship international orders via Air Parcel Post if requested by the buyer. Do to past problems with Air Parcel Post, we will not be responsible for lost or damaged goods. All goods requested to be shipped Air Parcel Post will be shipped insured and return receipt request. I guess they are insured then? If something was to happen, would they just replace my order, and send again? Do you know the names of Canadian sites like mudhole?
  23. I believe they have an option of sending the items via USPS. The only thing with that is that its not insured/trackable. BUt if its going to save me 20-40%, I might just do that.
