Very true Wayne. I sell stuff on ebay and have two packages that have been sitting in Chicago since Dec 31. Canada Post says everything got backed up due to the ice storm (could be just an excuse), but nothing I can do about it. I shipped them out immediately.

I saw a hawk catch a pigeon right in front of me. I'll never forget that either! Was pretty cool.

I caught a bunch of herring in Temagami one year and brought them home and my mom and I spend a night making pickled herring and jarred them all up. They were delicious. You can buy them in the store first to see if you like them. They sell them in jars or if you go to specialty shops, they sell them fresh.
