We spent a week on Baptiste a few years ago (our first time) hunting muskie. Only managed to raise 1, but it did not commit. Lots of pike and bass and even lakers in the deeper parts. Be very wary of stumps in this lake. There are a TON of them and you must be very careful or you'll do some damage to your engine. Good luck!

Sorry to hear Nancy, my thoughts are with you. My father had stage 4 lung cancer and it if helps at all, he looked like that at one point, but pulled out of it and lived another few years before he died of a heart attack (due to complications from the lung cancer). Hopefully he will pull through this and can continue his treatment. There is always hope!!

They fly too. When I used to live on the Denison Mines townsite in Elliot Lake, there was a few days in June when they flew all over the place, bombarding us kids. They are very spazzy flyers too. Not too coordinated so if they were coming straight at you, it didn't matter if you dodged left or right, they usually hit you. Great pic of that bug from my past
