  1. Yes, but with all the different critters that pass thru this way, I'm starting to run out of names
  2. I looked out the back door a few minutes ago and found these 15 fatties hanging out in the yard. Guess they know Thanksgiving is over
  3. Any small shop with a history of good customer service has nothing to fear from a big box opening in the area. Only those that haven't cared too much about the customers needs before the big box will have a problem. Just the way it should be. Nice to hear you found a good one Brian, it's not always an easy thing to do.
  4. My brother would agree with you on the gators RJ
  5. Alls good Johnny
  6. So it's OK for you to post YOUR opinion, but once your done, the thread is now tiring and and should be put to rest ??....WOW It's been a very interesting thread and alot of good thoughts have been expressed from both sides.
  7. Maybe hire Mike Duffy, I hear he's lookin for work.
  8. My brother fished Quinte for 20 years in a 12' tinnie with no issues and that's a place that can also get very nasty. It's all in knowing what your doing and when not to venture out. There's also guys with 20 footers that aren't qualified to drive a boat on Grenadier Pond on a quiet summer evening.
  9. The world was Black & White back then ??
  10. Personally, I find it strange that soooo many people seem more upset with Ford than with all the crap we've been through with the Provincial government and the Federal senators ripping off all our $$$$ with their scams. But maybe that's just me
  11. Because sadly, we're forced to share this planet with a bunch of slobs .
  12. Might already be here George, I've still got a flock of robins living around here and had 12 on the lawn an hour ago.
  13. I've always used the red Stabil for both running & storing and have never had any issues.
  14. It's never bothered me one way or another if it's daylight savings or not, the earlier I get up the more I like it. LOL
  15. 3 AM is normal, tomorrow should be about 2 It's when Roy and I share a morning internet coffee
  16. When I lived in Toronto I bought nearly all my outdoor gear from them. Everything they sell is top quality stuff...IMO...and I'm still using it years later.
  17. I still think Mel was more entertaining.
  18. Came across lotsa crazy stuff Bernie, but nothing like that Thanks for the morning laff hahaha
  19. Yup, more than a couple times Dan...stach & brows
  20. I've had a stach for 45 years and it's not coming off....but donations have been made as always.
  21. I've got a 10,000 watt permanent stand-by generator that fires up automatically when the power goes out, and shuts itself off when the power is restored. Runs all the essentials including furnace, sump pump, well pump, fridge & freezer, most of the lights and even a couple TV's and the puter. It has an installed trickle charger to keep the battery good and a warming blanket to keep it warm so it's always ready and I've got a 1500 litre propane tank to keep it fed. When the power goes out I don't really even notice it except for the few seconds delay till the generator fires up and the way that wind is howling right now, today could be the day. My stove & water heater are propane, plus I have a propane fireplace in the living room and downstairs in the family room, there's an airtight wood stove that will warm the whole house and there's 3 cords of dried & split harwood all set to go. I spose we could all survive like our ancestors did on the praries 150 years ago, but when modern technology is readily available, I'll take warm and comfy any day
  22. I hate when I call a company in Canada and am told if I want service in English, I need to press 1
  23. I use all Yamaha oils & filters for my 150 four stroke. It's what I've used since the Yammie was new and I've never had an issue and besides, the dealer is only a few miles down the hiway so it's one stop shopping. Might cost me a few $$$$ more but it's only once a year and I know everything will be good.
  24. When I was a kid in the 50's my dad had a Webley very similar to your Crosman. Must have cost my dad a small fortune paying for the 1000's of pellets we put through that thing
  25. Best charger I've ever owned. When the MK charger that came with my boat wears out it'll be replaced with a Guest.
