  7. You can never go wrong with a red/white daredevil spoon or a 5 diamond yellow/red spoon. (plus they're usually cheaper than alot of other lures)
  8. A few weeks ago we could see the sturgeons jumping out of the water near the falls here (Sturgeon Falls). It's kinda crazy seeing those big fish breaching the surface. MNR was there netting the sturgeon to take measurment and ect.. While i was watching they lifted 4 of them, not verry big ones but still in the 30-40 lbs range.
  9. Another option might be to get a small transom saver if you don't want to have to lay the motor in the boat. They help takes pressure off the transom from vibration and bumps while trailering the boat.

  13. The walleye bite is pritty good at the moment. They're slowly moving into their summer spots. You say your comming down in a couple weeks, and by that time they will definitely be lurking around the reefs in deeper water.

  15. Love the fishfinder/GPS shots, nice walleye too. awesome
  16. There always seems to be one weird teacher in every school, but that usually just makes things interesting. You just have to know what to listen to and what to ignore. (in this case ignore). But please don't rope in all teachers with this moron. Being a teacher myself, I hate seeing others saying this sort of inappropriate stuff in class, it gives us all a bad name.
  17. awesome, congrats

  21. I've had luck in the past during a cold front using a Rapala Husky Jerk. I'd twitch the bait and then let it sit for 20 seconds or so. I beleive i had the best luck with a Firetiger pattern in murky waters. I see kennyman suggests the same strategy, might be worth a try. good luck
  22. That's awesome, I can't wait to see the pic.
