I approve whole heartedly. Don't forget to finish all tomato sauces with a drizzle of EVO, extra virgin olive oil. Just a bit.

When it is legalized I would like to see the age of majority for purchasing it higher than for purchasing alcohol which was 21 until the year the age of majority was lowered to 19 and I just happened to turn 19 that year, or was it 18 in 72? Can anyone remember that far back? Regardless of my change in attitude for smoking weed, 19 is too young. I know what the rebuttal is "they are going to get it anyway". I am known to change my views when presented enough fact. My wife says it because I am a Libra, I say I'm mature enough to recognize when I'm wrong and admit it. If weed will be available from the Black Market for less dealers will still stay in business. Just as are illegal cigarettes and booze now.

I can see it now, high speed chases where the Cops are chasing Cheech and Chong doing between 20 and 22 KPH, and signalling lane changes. I am one of those that has changed my view of those smoking the Sacrament. Do what you want and when, just do it responsibly in the privacy of your own home. And don't invite Abby Noxious. Now having said that I know more than a few 50 and 60 year olds that are addicted to it, not many but they certainly are addicted, no doubt in my mind. They have to fire up a big blunt as soon as they touch their feet to the floor in the AM and just before they hit the hay at night. My brother being one. He is 56 and has been trying to quit for 25 years.

Thinking about buying a new boat.

You can buy a good and better used boat in your budget. No one is saying you have to spend over 20 grand. -
The 60 million dollar question. (Fishing related)
Old Ironmaker replied to Acountdeleted's topic in General Discussion
With 7 kids it better be a very big place. Lets see, 7 kids plus spouses and their kids so that's about 14 adults and 21 kids so that's 28 bedrooms sharing plus 1 for Mom is 29. 2 master baths and you two and Mom and 14 to share baths, that's 16 baths, a dining room for at least 50. Then the kids get married so say 1/2 get spouse's that's another 7 bedrooms and baths. What are we at now? 36 bedrooms, 23 bathrooms and a dining room that seats 60 people. Then there are servant quarters for a 8 man crew. 45 new cars in the drive. Man Rick I don't think 60 million is going to cover it. Good luck, better buy 2 tickets. -

There are "cottages" out there that the lottery wouldn't be enough to buy one. -
I don't know about the atheist part but radical, you know it. Which is fine. If people don't know you that would be their impression M2.

I don't think the word idiot should be tossed around in these days of enlightenment Chris. It is the "N" word for those that have loved ones that are mentally challenged. It is really offensive. -
This thread is getting ridiculous. I was an Altar Boy for 4 years so I must have been abused too? A radical atheist is just as annoying as any other religious radical in my opinion when they spew there Dogma, or is it agnostic, I get confused. Dogma noun, plural dogmata: an official system of principles or tenets concerning faith, morals, behavior, etc., as of a church or group with an opinion. What happened to Fran Flann?

I agree with both of you. I always thought if you had enough speed(power) you could outrun a storm. Nope. Running atop meter high or more waves at 40MPH isn't safe to me. I couldn't do it. I could feel the boat getting away from me side to side. You ride the wave like a duck does I have since learned. I just like the stability of a heavier deep V Star Craft that I have. In the other hand not being able to get on plane is a batch too. In calmer water with wind it can be dangerous as going into a wind with a light boat bow high is just as hairy. Listening and feeling every wave that feels like it is coming over the bow or through the hull sucks too, worse actually. It looks like the OP wants a underpowered cheaply made boat based on his last post, Legends are cheaply made boats. So be it, his coin, his choice. I don't know why he asked for opinions. Good luck Worm Dangler. -
I don't agree with you here M2B2. That is a broad statement that can't be qualified or quantified. Their religious Dogma may be centuries behind what most forward thinking people have today but all of them spreading hatred? I don't think so.

Ticha isn't the only bed buggers I have, knocking on my door and calling me before 9:00 AM.

Is it coincidence that the majority of the first list of celebrities where abusing drugs at sometime in their lives and some of them drug abuse was the root cause of their deaths. Every one of them except Patrick Swayze and Tom Clancy.

The latest report I can find on Fran Flann the elderly lady from BC that this thread is supposed to be about is below. Looks like because of the media attention she is getting some help from the public and not much from the Province. Apparently she will loose all her furniture. I can't believe it takes this long to fumigate for bed bugs. I do not have any experience with bed bugs, people bugging me while I'm in bed, plenty. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/82-year-old-woman-spends-nearly-a-week-in-a-homeless-shelter-1.3452708

We both posted at the same time Beans and basically said the same thing. I would buy a license regardless.

I have only fished the Keys and the west coast. The great thing about Fla. is you set a line and you never know what you are going to hook into from a small trout to a shark. Dead and live shrimp always gets you fish, strips of calamari too. All of the hardware up here will work as well. Stop by a pier and watch what folks are doing and talk to them is the best way to start. I have always had luck with Sea Trout which is very easy to fish for as well as Snook which is a highly sought after game fish. Ponds and inter coastal canals will hold Florida Bass (Largemouth strain) and about all saltwater fish in brackish water. Always remember to rinse off your tackle well after fishing salt water, rust will kill your tackle if not kept clean. I use a separate box for Florida tackle in case I didn't get all the salt off. You must buy a non resident fishing licence available at local bait and tackle stores, and ask about where and what to fish for and how. You must also go online or get yourself the regs. for the area you are going to fish and what and what isn't in season. There are slot sizes for certain species just as it is here depending on the area you are fishing. Good luck and have fun.

You will get a very nice used boat for that price. It is very dangerous to not be able to get a boat on plane. I nearly flipped a Jon boat when I came around a corner and the wind picked the front of that boat enough to get water coming into it quickly at the transom. I know for a fact you will not be happy with that boat woefully under powered. A boat cover will keep a boat dry, I shrink wrap mine every year too make sure it's nice and dry every spring. Wormdunker even though you don't have a fully enclosed garage you have a Lund, no comparison at all. Worm Dangler shop around and look at higher priced boats for comparison. Look at the difference in fit and finish. Smoker Craft may make the hull but to Legends specs, I bet the hulls with the Smoker Craft logo on it is much better built. Down to the number of rivets on the hull. I looked at a Tracker parked outside of Bass Pro. All the compartments were 1/2 full of water, things like the water tightness of live wells etc. are the things to look for. Down to the flimsy tin latches. The width of the gunnels on those boats look as solid as a 12 foot Sears car topper. Cheap boats because they are built cheaply. Keep looking if you intend on keeping the boat for a few happy years. I would looked for twice the boat used for the same price, and not underpowered. -
Killing innocents is only collateral damage after all. This may be way off the wall but, what if 50,000 nutbars in Quebec took up arms to create a separate state and started taking Canadian territory and terrorizing say Quebec and New Brunswick. We send in the 6 fighter planes and bomb a town they took and we created some collateral damage. I guarantee you they will have more than 50,000 fighters the next day.

I only had to loose 1 nice stringer of fish once when I clipped the stringer to the tinny and kept trolling. The combination of trolling and the river current had to pull the wire loose. Never again. We once bought those new fangled stringers from the Sportsman show years back with the plastic locking clips and our 2 buddies went to show us their catch and we said nice stringer, all the clips opened and they lost some nice fish while trolling. I cried too because it was supposed to be supper. I will never troll with fish in the water again. I will bleed them out when putting all the tackle away for the ride back in. No more stringers for me. A good line through the gills for only a few minutes. That blood also makes fish moist.

Good to know about waders not that I plan on filling them with water. I took a tumble (I was going to say a dump! I'm chuckling,) while fishing and they filled fast and felt heavy, real heavy when I got to the shore with a major shrivel factor. At least my neighbours had a laugh.
