  1. Fifty years from now, that quilt might be tattered and discoloured but you'll never get rid of it. They're just one of those things that become part of what you are. It's a great gift.
  2. Nice fish, Phil. Congrats to Howard. Muskie Magnet???
  3. I can't see them putting Nipissing anywhere but on the 901 chip.
  4. Camill, you should have blanked out the background. Great pic.
  5. Great stuff guys! I'm overwhelmed at the big names making an appearance this year too. Remo, in the third pic, doesn't Don Henley look amazingly like Tybo?
  6. Great fish Bud! Glad you had a good time. It'd be really cool if you sent me a PM.
  7. I have the 902 XL3 chip. It covers from the Maritimes to Kingston. I will get the 901 chip as soon as I have the chance. It doesn't seem like a lot for the money, eh?
  8. Thanks for the fishing report, Glen....and the biology lesson...and the history lesson and the geography lesson. I'm amazed that you know about yellow bass. Congrats on the great day, Bubba.

    It's Official

But I can fix THAT! Just kidding Richard. Congrats on the milestone.
  10. You did a great job, Jim. I agree with Lew though... you should get rid of any orange/black baits you have. They're nothing but trouble.
  11. I'm sure you're gunna do right by it, Lew. I have the LCX 25C which I have not used yet....starting in the spring...but I saw it in action on Marc's boat this past season....really a heavy duty piece of technology. ps. That's an excellent price.
  12. Yeah, same here.
  13. You know, we often scoff at upper management and their decision making process. But, I must say, Roger, that when Bass Pro Shops hired you, they truly hit the jackpot. You've got to be one of the best good will ambassadors for your company that I've seen in a long time. Good on ya, Bud! I'm sure that a nice percentage of Vaughan sales are directly linked to you. You and yours have a great Christmas my friend.
  14. Yeah, so yesterday was the day. There were 21 smiling faces...23 when you include J's and mine. The kids first spotted the red guy in the yard and started screaming for him to go to the door! It really was a fight for who was going to let him in. and finally the ole boy appeared. Amazing that he knew all of their names. We even caught one of his elves (ok ok dwarf) on film. My kidlets had a great day and wish everyone the best Christmas. Pics getting blurrier...*makes mental note to lock the bar next year* ps. The last pic was staged for the hockey fans.
  15. Dressed as Elf peeps...
  16. There are not too many people in our great community that I wouldn't fish with. None that I can think of. This coming soft water season I will fish with a lot more. steve_paul, Thank you for the kind words. Richard, you were not banned, you were suspended. Banning is forever. And you know why. Maybe we can fish together this coming season.
  17. It sure is big fishindevil, certainly the biggest I've ever seen.
  18. Was caught in Holland. The whole story is in the latest issue of Esox Angler.

    Recipes

Seven recipes in a few hours on a fishing board isn't bad. Especially when you consider that most of our chefs are cooking for the holidays.
  20. We're the same family, Fishfinder, we just moved into a nicer house in a better neighbourhood.
  21. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I love that joke! It's kinda like deja-vu for me.....
  22. Bingo, Dan!!
  23. You're right, Jen. They are Jazz hands and "If I told you once I told you a thousand times" hands.
  24. yuk yuk One of the best jokes I ever heard was told to me by DanC. C'mon Dan, you tell it so much better than I do.
  25. Have a good one, Rafal and a really great holiday season to you.
