But being a Cajun...the name ain't right without the cedilla...as in "Melançon". I've never used their services but they are very well known here and I've never heard bad news about them. Have a great trip.
Some of the leading baits in the world are jerkbaits...the Bomber Long A, the original floating Rapala etc...I guess it comes down to confidence. This link might help you.

If I knew that by tying on a white spinnerbait I'd have a "WHAM, FISH ON!" I don't know whether I'd bother trying to learn how to use a bait that I had less confidence in. What do you think?
Good luck to you Dan, and as Lew said, it's going to be way too cloudy here too. But then, with YOU taking the pics, there's not much sense in anyone else trying. :-)

Thank you again everyone and a huge OFC hug to Maureen for a job well done.
ps. ummmm....sorry Lloyd, sometimes my life gets in the way.
I've been to Shannon several times. Want lotsa walleye, that's a good place to go. If I remember correctly, the last time I was there it cost me $309.00 for four days. Pretty dang reasonable and the fishing was excellent.
We had a Shell refinery close down here recently. They're using that as the reason for tight supplies. Yeah....right...I like my Jeep and my cars but I could still manage quite well without them. Shut'em down...Let's see who lasts the longest.
I'd like to thank everyone who participated in this worthy cause. The folks who donated and the folks who bid are just awesome. I will have a report as to what was gathered for Tyler sometime this evening. Thank you again, everyone. The threads will stay up for a while yet to give a chance to folks to see how it worked out.
Thank you....sincerely.
Time to make the doughnuts....
This was to be a thread about cougars. Instead, we've learned that everyone has the right to his/her opinion. This is really working out well.
