  1. SHHHHHHHHSS Yogi, be still and be quiet. Hear da bells jingling? Dat could only mean one thing. Tonight's menu will either have reindeer or a hugely fat and red supper.
  2. NOOO The bells and pepper joke would be inappropriate at this time.
  3. TJ, call your CO bud....he'll help you out with that.
  4. I'll bet those fish are thinkin' "That'll buff right out."

    Chat??

My GAWD! I've been waiting for this for a year and a half!!!!! God DOES love me!!!!! I'll be in in a bit.
  6. Hey Lew, check this out. You might find something in there. http://www.chapleau.com/history.html
  7. WOW!!!! I love this stuff Lew! Such a wonderful piece of family history to have!
  8. I can't be there before very late Friday night. It's too bad cause last year's inaugural shore lunch looks like a winner. I'm really looking forward to being there again this year though. I haven't missed a single one since the very first. Those of you who are teeter-tottering over whether to go or not....just make it happen. You won't regret it.
  9. I'll be in there if anyone wants to pop by to give me fishing tips. The topic tonight is "Fat suspenders...is there really a better colour for fishing?"
  10. Explain what makes you come to that conclusion please. I don't understand what you're saying.
  11. Bill, I actually prefer knotting them. I just can't get them right past 100lb test though. 100lb and under it works great and there's no chance of ever scarring the fluoro with a crimp.
  12. A firm crimp is better than a really squashed one. Remember to leave half an inch of the tag end at the swivel end of the leader. Bend that tag end for it to become perpendicular to the leader and you really lessen the weed problem on your baits.
  13. I might be popping in there as well tonight Glenn. See Jean-Simon in parts, upstairs. He'll steer you right.
  14. WTG! Rich, when I was a kid that was almost the only kind of fishing I did. There's a fair amount of specks here. I should give it a few tries this season. A peaceful pastime and a truly nice fish.
  15. I just love it up there. Thanks for posting it was a great read for me this morning.
  16. Excellent report and pics, Phil. I don't know Norton but it sure is nice to see Don, Connie and yourself in fine form and enjoying yourselves. Looks you guys just arrived at the cusp of ice out. A couple of days earlier and you might have been socked in for a while. Thanks for posting that, Phil.
  17. Burgerdude, you're a troller. Both on the net and on the water. The only part of your story which might sound kind of plausible is that you may or may not own a boat. This is a waste of bandwidth.
  18. Thanks for the great first report Peps. Glad you persevered through the inclement weather too or we wouldn't have read this report either. But we DO like pics, Peps. I don't mind that much myself you understand. Pics are mostly needed for some of our illiterate redneck friends. Yeah, that's it! Thanks again.
  19. Here you go, Bud. http://www.muskokabassmasters.com/ oops sorry...click on tournaments at the left then to the appropriate one....the results are there.
  20. Might be a typo like Orrillia.
  21. I think it was a valid question.
  22. It really is a fine looking bass. I no longer trust fish weight calculators. My height and girth puts me at 64 lbs. That's WAY off.
  23. No worries, Bud. I always consider the source so, in in your case, My feelings are never hurt.
  24. That's a super pic Raf, thanks! I think he wants a leaper for the purposes of the ad.
  25. My brother is doing an ad presentation, he's on the Gold Coast and needs a pic of a chinook/king in action...leaping. Anyone got one handy? Please and thank you.
