1. Thanks Jer, that'd be swell. Looking forward to it.
2. One thing for sure, you don't want to be lipping them.
3. "it's kinda like taking a trip and never leaving the farm." I'm curious as to how many people picked up on this.
4. HAHAHAHAHA Seriously though, this is a great opportunity for someone with the right qualifications. Sounds great!
5. I just can't wait for that report from Limerick Lake. I've never been there.
6. No earth. Shred some newspaper (newsprint) not the glossy stuff. Pour cold water over it then wring it out. Put that and that only in an appropriate container. No need for holes. Lay the worms down on top of the 'mulch' and let them find their own way down. Any that are weak, dying or dead will stay at the top and you can discard those. Keep the container in a fridge and they'll last for months. If you want to get fancy, a day or two before your fishing trip, sprinkle coffee grounds over the mulch. This seems to give the worms a buzz and they become unusually strong and wriggly. Make sure the 'mulch doesn't dry. If you wanna know about worms, ask a frog.
7. Paul hasn't posted in over a month. Has anyone heard from him?
8. Who were you planning on creaming Pam? We love pics.
9. *wonders if Joey and I could pass as a youth group*
10. While I'm no scientist, I can certainly put forward my list of recommendations of how best to preserve the lake. 1- Leave it alone!
11. I'm glad the stars were in alignment for you guys to get together. Keep those pics on a separate disc so as not to lose them. They'll grow more precious as time goes on. And now I'm curious. Now, is your vow to return to that lake or not? Thanks for taking the time to share you time on the water with us. Great pics.
12. Welcome aboard! You'll fit in just famously.
13. Great report guys. Glad you figured out the dock thing. Some decent fish there too! Thanks for posting.
14. These threads never cease to amaze me. Look at it from a newbie's perspective. A dude posts a thread to the board and according to the newbie, this poster dude seems to really know what he's talking about. So, the thread is but a few hours old and what do we have so far? We have experts positivly identifying this 12 inch fish as a King, an Atlantic, a coho a pink or a pinook. Now, if all of the salmonoid brethren on this board can't ID a fish after years of training and studying to become experts, how the hell would a rooky CO even be able to lay a charge?? Now if it was a carp it'd be easy! Carps is the one dat has his mouth on the wrong side of his face. Add to that a little town bashing (armpit), a few ethics comments (lining, marshmallows, baseball bats) and you have the makings of a soon to be locked or deleted thread. But thanks for posting. If there is no flaming, it'll stay up and eventually we'll find out what this fish really is....maybe. And congrats on catching this ummmm...fish.
15. You're right guys. That WAS an excellent adventure. Thank you for taking the time to post that. A really well documented account of a coupla buds having a good time and making the best on inclement weather and really working at finding the fish.
16. Congrats to you Jamie! Great pic too. What were you usin'? A cornfly? I mean...how do you match the hatch with veggies? Glad to see you in the limelight Bud.
17. I've owned 3 Fords. I like Fords. If it wasn't for Fords, we wouldn't have good stuff like this! <param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344">
18. I don't think I've ever passed the 140KPH mark in 45 years of driving.
19. Don't push the envelope LA. Get up there and have a great time. Fish is a bonus. Be safe and take batches of pictures. Family vacation memories will always be with you. Looking forward to the report.
20. WTG Jim. That almost looks like a Larry fish. I'm glad she made your day. You're spoiled now...you'll be scoffing at low 40" fish.
21. Happy Birthday Connie. You're a good man and deserve all the good things that happen to you. Those good things don't come to you by accident. What goes 'round, comes 'round. Be well my friend.

slow

I hear ya Terry. For the last two weeks or so it's been slowing down for me between 5:30am and 6:10 or so. Haven't figured it out yet but we do have a lead. Something about marshmallows.....
23. Mike, Lac des Ecorces charges $10 for a wash. I have a sneaking suspicion that your brother in law doesn't want to see you.
24. Glad all is working out! Group hug!
25. Welcome aboard Yo_Guy. You got some nice fish there, thanks for the report and introduction. Sorry to hear of your run in with the braid. It only takes a fraction of a second to really do some damage with braided lines. It's bad enough hanging onto braid with a tough snag but with an electric or gas motor prop winching the stuff, it becomes a buzz-saw. Thanks again for sharing.
