  1. Michigander, a bunch of us will be there around the 20th. We will then be in a better position to help you before you set out on your trip.
  2. I wouldn't go with anything under 4,000w. Not so much for the depth but for the clarity of the signal. Within a couple of years I doubt you'll be able to find a unit under 4,000 watts.
  3. Hold on Scott, I'll take a pic or two.
  4. No Scott, I run a 24V bowmount. You run a bank to each battery from the charger. If you want a diagram I'll PM you one.
  5. Was a decent rant as rants go. Sorry mr.mike. you lost this one.
  6. Everything's great here. Just another day to be thankful for what we have. Have a good rest Mike.
  7. Cliff, Sue, Cliff, Carole and Sydney (let's not forget Andy) now that's gotta be a winning group. Congrats to you all and thank you for posting. I miss the Bignells...haven't seen them in a coupla years Glad you had a wonderful time Cliff but with the Bignells, how could you miss?
  8. And Mike's bucket is just a beast. Not many of us will ever even see one that big close up. Good on ya Mike.
  9. Bill, I'm certainly no expert but that's gotta be a 6+ fer sure. Mayonnaise a lotta meat on that fish! Wow! Impressive to say the least! Congrats to your sweetie.
  10. I really hope that y'all have a super day. We can thank our lucky stars that we're in reasonable health.....not everyone is. Be well.
  11. OMG Dan, what can I say? Those are some serious world class brookies. Thanks so much for sharing that. If I only went out once a year and did what you did, I'd be a happy dude. Good on ya and your buds. Dang that was a nice report! Edit: Oh and Jon, which ZEC are you going to if you don't mind my asking?
  12. OMG that looks like an excellent day, Joey and Paul. Great report. Great pictures and a super account of your day.
  13. Mike! You're selling things that are not new?? You must be an American eh?
  14. No trouble at all. You might not want to show your elementary school teacher how you spelled Saskatchewan though. Not to worry though, if she gives you a hard time, I'll back you.
  15. Thanks for putting it back on track Dabluz.
  16. I don't own an Okuma reel or an Okuma anything so I can't comment. What I DID notice this morning though was that mike posted 20 or so posts to try to bury the Okuma thread. I think that's kind of a waste of pixels. One post to the Okuma thread with a simple apology would have been much more efficient, not to mention grown up. But hey, that's just my opinion.
  17. Happy happy to Jim and Phil. Have a great one.
  18. If the MNR dude failed biology class do we re-open the 'discussion'? I'm only kidding! MNR dudes are never wrong!
  19. Lakeshore, you seem to have hit the motherlode with your question. You've gotten very insightful information from some of the top walleye people on this board. Anyone interested in upping their walleye catch rates should give these methods an honest try. Thanks all for the great advice and a special thanks to Bill (McQ) for taking the time to post his goldmine of an article.
  20. I've never gotten drunk enough to get a tattoo.
  21. Welcome aboard, Gary!
  22. DANG!!!! I shoulda been sitting at that table! That looks scrumptious! I love crawfish.
  23. Sharks guys...didn't know you were that good at this. Whale, I'd better get supper happening. Catch you later.
  24. Jdmls, you're not going to like this but I have a problem with folks who want a $600 reel but balk at a $3 float. You'll find that lots of float guys will post a pic of their catch but the reel will invariably be included in the picture. Is there a reason for that?
  25. Thanks Phil. As long as his health is ok, that's the main thing.
