Great report Carole. I haven't managed to hit the water yet.....the 24th I guess.
Thanks for posting.
When did you become Faux Farm staff. I'm on staff there too...never saw you at the meetings.
I was fortunate. My steel wheels were getting a little rusty and I talked to a friend who owns AM Distribution. He gave me 3 13" great quality tires mounted on beauty galvanized wheels, wheel locks, ballmount with lock and a 2" ball for $300.
Standing back and looking at all of this, I can't help but think that the name of the RLTA has been tainted by a few rogue members of the association. I hope that the members in good standing of that association continue to do well in their business endeavours and that people from every area of North America continue to holiday on and around Rice Lake.
Let's call this a wrap.
I have 4 Spiel rods...best rods I own. Two muskie rods and two walleye rods. I should have another in June. Chris is a top notch dude to deal with too! If someone is not quite sure what they want, he'll walk them through it. So yes....Spiel is the man if you want something special.
I have some of the best drop in on me regularly. Here's Marc Thorpe, Pete Maina, John Gillespie, their cameraman and moi. That day, they were just over for a pop and some fishing advice.
Thanks but I'm about the farthest thing away from being mechanically gifted and the motor is still relatively new so I prefer to stay with the manufacturer's specs for my own peace of mind. Also, the couple of extra bucks isn't going to kill me.
