  1. The two things I don't like about wire is that most of them kink easily and if the fish rolls, you'll be cutting into its back.
  2. My fluoro muskie trolling leaders are between 36" and 48". If tying your own, don't trim the tag end of the knot or loop at the mainline (swivel) end. Leave a half inch leg sticking out at perpendicular to the line. This will pick up any weeds headed for your bait and you'll be able to fish much longer between bait cleanings.
  3. WOW. I can't believe that Nashville/Montreal game. What a cliff hanger. No prima donnas, just two good teams playing together and giving it their best.
  4. Now there's a fluke and a half!
  5. We will be arriving at 85,000,000 views sometime before noon today. That's almost unheard of in fishing site circles. We'd like to thank everyone who has participated in this community's success. It's just great to be a part of this community. Thank you all!
  6. Ling is very edible, bowfin is not. As for snakehead, I've never had it.

  8. Sucks to be a Habs fan right now too. It seems Price is out with an upper body injury. Not good.
  9. Target is an American company. Perhaps the confusion lies here: Some people jokingly give Target the pseudo-French pronunciation /tɑrˈʒeɪ/ tar-ZHAY, as though it were an upscale boutique. This trend is incorrectly believed to have been started by Oprah Winfrey, when she used the French pronunciation to refer to the store on her television show, but has actually been traced back to 1962, the year the first Target store opened. Target once sold a line of shoes called "Ms Targe"[62] this was reinforced by a 1980s television advertisement starring Didi Conn. This pronunciation has also led some people to incorrectly believe that the company is French-owned.[52] In recognition of the nickname's popularity and cachet, Target Corporation licensed its name and logo to Brand Central LLC in 2006, complete with accent over the letter "E", for a new line of clothing intended for more up-scale fashion customers. The line, "Targét Couture", was originally sold at Los Angeles-based store Intuition, which deals with high-end brands.
