I fish in any weather that doesnt involve lightning and even then i wait until i see the storm coming myself because i have no faith in the weather people lol. Some of my biggest fish have been caught in the rain or just before so it aint gonna stop me!

Im no bassmaster by any stretch but I would probably send a good sized minnow down in the deeper water and see what the big fish look like. Any good size pike would be hunkering down colder water and would likely be hard pressed to resist a free live meal. Good luck bud!

I dont know the ins and outs of marina fishing but i do know it is illegal to interfere with somebody who is fishing or hunting by the rules. If you can find out if you are allowed to fish there you can then tell anyone who interferes with you that they are breaking the law and they should leave you alone and mind their own business. You could always try calling mnr or the local police to see what they have to say on the matter before you go.personally i try to stay away from people and their drama but if your options are limited then giver. Thanks brian! Wheels, that second fish was a rough specimen but i will say it fought just as hard as any other, i tried to get her in and out as quick as possible hence the guess on length.

I went out solo saturday and boated 2/4, i saw about 7,8 but they were very lazy. The ones i did hit were a long cast away when they bit. I would have said it was tough conditions so i was certainly happy to get the 2 i did. Lost a monster at the boat early morning but powered through to get something. First was a hair under 40" and second was mid thirties somewhere.

Its an interesting setup, can you put the 4 wheeler in the back of the truck and throw some other stuff on the trailer? Id bet the truck would ride way better that way.

I use regular power pro braid on every setup i have followed by a floro or wire leader depending on what im fishing for.

Ill be coming back from my pike fishing trip just before the long weekend, ill wave to the walleye guys on my way out lol.

I guess i could have mentioned colours, our best 2 were green with black ladderback and blue with black ladderback, orange belly usually out performed white belly though. I usually ran one lyman/jplug on my middle dipsey and you never know what would hit it.

We use j plugs as well as lymans with similar success rates.

I ve got a couple pike in the glide rap, im not real big on glide baits in general though so ive caught way more on dbl jointeds, super shad raps, original floating, rapala minnow spoons etc etc lol
