OK Blue Jays let's play ball !!!!!!!!!!!!!! NF

My concern is Dickey's knuckle-ball may lack the movement in the Dome? Dome open we'll have to see. But his stats at Roger's Center, prior to joining Jays, is not that good: 28 hits in 22 innings of work equals not good. Still gonna root for him and the Jays though. Hopefully they can work these kinks out soon. -
Extra flavour for those yummy Hamilton Harbour Perch

The one thing I can't believe is this old fella who fishes the bay a lot, and I mean for the last 30 years, has been eating catfish from the harbor all this time. Pretty crazy but amazingly he's still around. Even knowing this I still wouldn't eat anything outta there. -

As per your usual......nice outing! -
I recently picked up a St. Croix panfish series UL rod 6' from SAIL for $88. It was $110. Very light and sensitive rod, I like it alot. I currently have a Rapala Type R on it, a small reel. But been looking at the Shimano Symetre 500. I seen it on sale at SAIL for $75, which is a steal! Regardless I am very happy with this rod. If you see it pick it up then you'll know what I mean,

Exactly what i was thinking! -
I would chum the water with oatmeal or ground catfood. I do that with emeralds and works like a charm. If there are that many there, you may want to try one of those umbrella nets with a rope tied to it. I got one that is maybe 4' x 4'. Chum the water, throw out your net and pull when they flock in. Or try the small hook for them idea. Good luck and Goldens are an amazing bait. If you salt a bunch too walleye love them.

That's because it's spelled Kraken. I still have to try that one.

I too am a rum guy and agree with Mike here. Havana Club is my favourite hands down. They typically sell one with brown label and one with the black. Bot are really good but the black labelled one is aged longer. So more $$$. Not a huge fan of Appletons, But definitely check the vintage section for something unique.

Same here, infact I mixed some fish I baked last night in my home made stir-fry I'm eating now. Just love eating fish...all kinds.

That is probably the most common problem with laptops is overheating. And typically the most common cause is vent blockage by dust. So you definitely do not want to turn the fan off or else your laptop will overheat. Like mentioned already, get a compressed air can and spray the vents. And I wouldn't advise to try to take it apart as laptops typically come with 2 million screws. And if that does not work, you may want to consider a laptop cooling pad of some sort.

I am looking for a good site to order reel parts. I went to order an arm lever for my Quantum Incyte, a 51 cent part off a website, but shipping was $35! But also looking for parts for my Daiwa SS's and various other reel makes I have. So any help would be appreciated.

That is short!

All fine here as well. You might want to clear your Internet cache and\or try a different browser. Wouldn't hurt to run a virus\malware check either.

How Do You Know Rogers and Bell Own The Leafs??
Hooked replied to Oggie's topic in General Discussion
I guess you have a lite DSL? I have Bell hi-speed DSL and streaming is fine. And I can download at 1.2 MB/s, which is pretty decent. -
For some reason the 2-stroke is $300 more?
-
Thanks for your replies boy's, I have relayed the obvious answer to him. I think he just ordered it too. Can't wait to check it out! That thing is going to boogy.

My brother is getting a new boat and is conflicted by which motor he should get. He is looking at getting a 20' Legend Xcalibur. Which motor would you all recommend to go with it? Has to be Mercury. Thanks.

I have heard of guys using smelt from the grocery store. At times they would chop them into chunks and use them with success. Whether that's legal or not not sure? But your best bet is to go artificial for now until it's time to net your own emeralds.....salt like others have said. I personally have to work on my salting technique as they either dry out or get soggy.....

I used to do that until they put me on the attendance awareness list.

Sweet fish! What kind of swim bait did that bass attack, second to last photo? Looks interesting.

I'd give a go at er too! I'm a tackle whure anyways and always like fishing with new tackle. Sign me up if needed.

Good luck with it. Figuring since you were able to quit smoking, you should be able to conquer this as well. A guy I work with went through the exact same place you are going to. He did lose weight but I guess he lost his will power and put it on again. But you are right, determination and courage will be needed in large quatities for your task. But after awhile, if you keep with it, will hopefully just be a normal life-style for you and won't require all that much courage and determination. Good luck.

I remember you posting outings like that...loved them!!! Infact I still talk about the white bass you would catch, they were huge! Not to mind the variety of other fish you would catch! Good times to remember. Thanks for sharing again and very sorry that it is no longer possible for you to do outings like that anymore.
