  1. Got another little bigger pike there. cant really see the patters too well but it's also very light. btw I got it on a shrimp while fishing for bullheads.
  2. Any pics of the pike?? Looks like you two had a good time!
  3. I pulled out a camping chair from 50 point marina covered in zebra muscules. Took 15 mins to reel in lol I didn't want to loose the lure. (30lb braid helped)
  4. Alright, if it's not raining I'll go back tomorrow and see if I can catch a larger one
  5. That might be it, no? size 30cm looks about right and marking looks pretty close to the pic in that link.
  6. Georgan Bay,
  7. Thanks guys, that's my personal best .
  8. Never seen a pike that light or with vertical stripes :/
  9. Got this today at a place 15 minutes from home (Hamilton). I was positive it was a baby pike but the pattern looks off...like a tiger or a musky. Is it possible?? If I had an aquarium that bad boy would be coming home with me....
  10. Awesome pike! Is that from lake Simcoe?
  11. Leaving tomorrow morning, any last minute advice? on lures esp.
  12. Nice Video and good size pike! I'm heading to Muskoka next weekend hope I'll catch some pike that size!
  13. Thanks again. Bigbuck PM sent! Can anyone help me with this question? - How far out do I have to get to find larger pike? Are they going to be in deaper water or not this early yet?
  14. Thanks for the tips guys. I'm not going to be racing so should be ok I think (I'm a caution guy), might bring my trolling motor too and use that as well. How far out do I have to get to find larger pike? Are they going to be in deaper water or not this early yet?
  15. I can't seem to find that area on the map. Where is that? btw I'll have a 16 footer with a 20hp motor.
  16. I have a cottage booked for next weekend (31st) on Honey Harbour Georgan Bay. I'll have a boat to use as well so hopefully we'll have some nice weather. I've never fished there so could use some tips on lures and what techiques to use. I'll post report with pics after I'll be going for pike and walleye. Really hoping to get a nice trophy pike!
  17. I've caught a number of them last year on small spoons and spinners. Worm would work too if you're into lazy fishing
  18. I fished with them from shore. Rainbow and silver work best IMO.
  19. I've had best results for pike with Mepps Syclopes spoons and crankbaits. Cant wait to fish for pike again!!
  20. Keep an out out on Canadain tire. I got a marine one Motomaster Nautilus for $50 on sale that was 100$ reg price. they had other on sale as well.
  21. I've heard a lot about Erie catfish run. What about lake Ontario trips?
  22. I did a search on the forum and read that they lift the barrier in the fall till spring to let the fun go thru. Is that true? Also in one of the ditches (cant really call it a creek) that run into Spencer I saw a few rainbows when I was there on Sunday, so I think they are there.
  23. Anyone had luck fishing for trout at Spencer Creek? Is the run still on (east of Coots)? I've been there twice now; Sunday and today no luck but water was pea soup, very high and quite fast. Today was a little better but still no luck. Anything else the creek can be good for later on other than suckers?
  24. I've used macs since 2002 and I got my first oneMacBook Pro laptop over a year ago and love it. Portability of a laptop is awesome, I dont think I could go back to desktop.
