  1. Almost looks like a tiger trout, really cool catch whatever it is!
  2. That's a nice idea, I really hate walking out on a pier and finding it littered with dried up gobies.
  3. Providing my stitches heal up enough we should be off to the park Friday.
  4. If I was in your position I'd be focusing on bass and musky.
  5. Great report! Love the colour of the water there, pitch black.
  6. I'm with you PFJ, I'm in hospital an plan on doing a little fishing later today! LOL. I've been out about 200 times this year and there's still a good bit of time until jan 1.
  7. This was my first year really getting into the sport, I've always loved to fish but had never put in a lot of time. This year I caught my first steelhead, bonefish, snapper, blue runner, white sucker, crappie, pike, walleye, gobie, jumbo perch, chain pickerel, channel cat and first carp! And I have new pbs for LMB, SMB, rock bass, brown trout, brook trout and striped bass! Best year ever for me, and I have a feeling it will just get better next year!
  8. Trout, trout, trout, trout! I'll be at the same lake as you were this week in Algonquin, just to add to the jealousy.
  9. But how do you work them? If you went to the side then it woldnt be an issue but I like to work them with big sweeps straight down.
  10. Actually I've had problems from boat too and I am about 5' 8".
  11. Alright you got me! Anything for fishing, and yes I would jump from a bridge for a 10 lb brookie!
  12. I can get a 6'6 going from the trunk of our crv to the front going over the seats, don't know how much room you have though...
  13. You can't see the size of my arms in that shot! LOL!
  14. I've never had anything on a spoon. Never had great luck for bass on spinnerbaits but I've caught a decent number of pike on them.
  15. If you use jerk baits a lot, a shorter rod will give you more room to work.
