Thinking of going out tomorrow morning with the canoe. Thinking of hitting mitchell or canal for some pike, bass and maybe some shore musky. I just want to get into a setting like the kawarthas for a while and try for some pike before it gets too cold. What do you guys think? (would have to be within an hours drive) Thanks!

Just looking for a little clarification here, I thought that Algonquin was closed to all fishing as of the end of september, but looking at the regs today it says dec 1- dec 31, does that mean you can still fish for bass?

Just finished tying a few flashy steelhead flies myself! never fished jigs for them before but steelhead love anything that flashes so I would imagine there is no wrong way to fish them. They look great by the way.
