Hi all, I really enjoy the beer batter type breading for fish. For numerous reasons, trying not to take any beer on my trips....any suggestions for a comparable recipe?
Never been, but taking my son on the long weekend. I know it will be busy, but am looking for a good place to launch from (I am coming from Brampton). With a 6 year old... The less busy the better.
Would also welcome any pm's for Crappie or walleye tips.
Thanks in advance!
I towed with a Caravan for years...no problems at all. Treat it with respect and tow like you arent a full size truck and you are good. Never had a tow package either.
I really like the idea of storing my boat near the lake. Any other lakes you would recommend?
I am a multi-species fisher, but perch, pike, bass, crappie, walleye are my favs
Thanks. I am paying $130 a month to store my boat at a storage place in Brampton. Found a place in cooks where it is $50 per month. That is why I am tempted.
Hi all. Recently relocated to Brampton from Niagara. Thinking about storing my boat at Cooks Bay. I have a 14ft Princecraft and 20hp Yamaha.
I have zero experience with Simcoe. Is cooks somewhere where my boys and I can enjoy some good fishing? Not looking for spots...just a general sense.
Thanks in advance!
Yup...console. A lot of "fishing boats" have the flip up benches etc. to easily convert from fish to cruise. I was impressed with some of the layouts of the Legend boats.
Literally just got my pleasure craft license in the mail yesterday. Filled out the form, included bill of sale and photocopy of Driver License and had my license in 2 weeks. No pictures of the boat are required.
Hey all. Booked for a fly-in with my little guy (he is 6) for this summer. Looking for some menu ideas from the seasoned fly-in guys. With no running water...the less dishes the best! Only allergy is nuts.
Thanks in advance!
Great post Fisher. Being a former Smokercraft owner (loved the boat) I had the same problem, was 10hp under max and there was no additional weight in the rear other than what is factory. It shoulda ran better without tabs, but it didnt. Put the tabs on...dream ride.
No offense to other posts, but IMO weight distribution (i.e. filling front livewell) is also a bandaid option.
Hope all works out for you and that you end up really enjoying your boat!!!
Not gonna name the dealer cause honestly they have treated me like gold and I have bought 3 boats from them, but when I told them about the issues I had with the ProMag and the difference the tabs made, they asked for pics to share with other customers. It seems like a common issue.
A lot dealers have never really run the boats they sell...sad but true.
I had a Smokercraft Pro Mag with a 140. EXACT problem...porpoised like crazy. I too expected better from a new boat. I installed smart tabs and it 100% fixed it. Feel free to pm me with questions.
