Thinking Gilford. Coming from Brampton and want some ice out perch and crappie

Hi, new to Simcoe and looking for a decent launch on cooks or holland river near the lake. I have a 14 ft tinny if that helps. I also have small kids, so am looking to stay away from gong show ramps if possible...easy in and easy out. I am ok to pay a launch fee for less traffic. Thanks in advance.

Gotta admit...fish smell on my hands grosses me out...especially when using minnows....to the point I cant eat anything with my hands. Any tricks to remove the smell? Thanks in advance.

Not to hijack this post, but why are 4 strokes slow out of the hole? I had a 2 stroke Merc that just took off, but my 4 stroke yamaha almost seems like it thinks for mimute before getting up to speed

I have owned Merc, Yamaha and Suzuki. Dont overlook Suzuki....great engine imo

Slush was brutal...but the warmer temps made it doable

Went out with my 6 year old today. Used Terry Goy thanks to the recommendations of the members here....good operation. Slow day, but we managed 45 in total and 14 keepers. Great time spent with my dude and he is asking when we can go again!
