  1. Wonderful recap Lew, congrats on a fine year. Definitely an inspiration for guys like me who caught their first Musky this year - I learn a lot from your posts and look forward to learning more for years to come.
  2. Nice recap, looks like a great year to me with some great pics.
  3. That sounds like a couple days of pure hell there Glen. Glad to hear your feeling better. Sean
  4. Woohoo! I thought the show was great but this is a wonderful bonus. I promise to get some good fish slime on the shirt as soon as I can
  5. You weren't kidding about the bigger girls being in part 2. Some amazing walleye there and a nice pike too. Congrats on a great year.
  6. What a great year Drew. Thanks for sharing all those great reports with us. Looking forward to next years batch.
  7. My ears are getting frostbite just thinking about. Sweet ride though.
  8. I think BBRs head just exploded
  9. Great stuff guys. Takes some dedication to go out in that wind today (not that I'm giving you an excuse Cliff). I'm not sure what the handicap is but I'm pretty sure I'll put my Mike in this ongoing competition
  10. Great stuff Mike but now I'm depressed with the idea that the year is over. Come on ice!!!!
  11. you could simply link it but most of the video sites have an 'embed' section of code/text somewhere on the page. To use that you need to set the POST OPTIONS to HTML On - Auto Linebreak mode then paste in the embed text into it and you get something like this: <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
  12. Was kinda wondering when the famous shoreline walleye stories would start showing themselves. Can't wait for part 2.
  13. Sometimes it takes the view of someone from the outsideto show you what a wonderful place you live in. Thanks for reminding us all and sharing your adventures with us. That mini rock bass and bowfin still crack me up . Have a good trip back and we'll be waiting for some of those classic European fishing pics like this one
  14. Great stuff as always. Interesting that the grub colour on the last one matched its cheeks almost exactly. Or maybe not that interesting but hey its' been a long work day
  15. hehe Snag, I expect to see that pic with 007s face pasted in a month after the move back
  16. Great report as always, thats a whole wackload of perch way to go. Can't wait to read the summary.
  17. Love those water over the frozen rock pics. They turned out really well.
  18. Nice job Cliff, beautiful pike for sure.
  19. 8-Foot Giant Catfish Caught in Cambodia Released unharmed which is even cooler though apparently they're critically endangered with only a few hundred left. Full story here: National Geographic
  20. I used a medium heavy in the spring and was happy with it, the little guys still gave it a bit of a bend but it was able to handle the mid 30"ers as well (biggest I got this spring). I've used my cheapo BPS tourney medium as well though and didn't have any problem with the bigger guys either though a couple times I wished I had a bit more backbone.
  21. Happy birthday guys, all the best to the both of you.
  22. Mental note: don't be near Mike at the next GTG. At least not until I've gotten all the beer from him first . Sorry I missed this one (free beer - what was I thinking!)
  23. I was at a fishing resort a couple years ago that had a Tourism intern working there as the minnow girl (setting up boats for anglers, office work, and minnow wrangling amongst other things). You might want to try calling some of the lodges and see if they have a spot. I'm not sure how much of the work she was doing was related to her schoolwork but I guess she got to see how a lodge is run (or in the case of this particular lodge NOT run though not her fault).
  24. Very cool, congrats. I can kinda understand removing OFC and other 'free advertising' but to change BPS (a non sponser) to Cabelas (a sponsor) seems a bit wrong rather than just removing the BPS logo. Basically they're saying that you endorse cabelas which may not be true. Gotta love the marketing world.
  25. Nice fish. Good to see they're still feeding but that waters looking awfully chilly.
