Some nice big cats Steve !!! They sure do fight hard !!!! I get a dozen or so every year in the Ottawa river and sure do bulldog in the current !!!! I see you have no ice down there !!! Up here on sturgeon lake we are still all froze up !!!! Grrr

Holy crap !!!! what the hell ..... He's crazy,and yes I have removed my fair share from my hands and other people's hands !!!!! Mostly back when we ran the charter boat on Lake Ontario had a few customers impale themselves as well as myself more than once !!!!!!!!

Ya another thing is all the American shows are mostly all shot up here in Canada !!!! Mostly in NW Ontario .....pretty boring channel and shows I agree!!! Just a Giant commercial

Yes it's cool I have been on that site for years as well !!!! There's lots more on that site too like thermal temps of the Great Lakes salmon guys use it a lot you can clearly see the dirty water Comming out of the niagara river too !!!!!

well according to this it does matter !!!! I believe it does I have proved it many times with my own homemade worm harnesses !!! And walleyes can see different colors at different depths and you have to factor in water clarity and whether it's sunny cloudy or whatever !!! I guess to each their own but I always experiment with colors and size !!!!!

wow thats great news...tracking the movements and cycles of the walleyes..!!! and a nice chunk o change for returning the tag,and you get to keep the fish too...hope the data collected gives them lots of info

i have all the ones you mentioned,and i think the hot maps gives the best detail on my lowrance units,but the fish n chip for the great lakes was awesome too,but they still need to add more lakes...i use the hotmaps the most if im on lakes that are covered by the map....

Fill it with 30lb 7-8 strand wire and run a dipsey diver !!!!! Get some flashers and some atomic trolling flies and you are all set !!!! That's if you don't have riggers ??

Back in the early to mid 90,s I did sechi disk reading and water sampling for the MNR !!! From various lakes and rivers that I fished mainly the Ottawa river and lake clear as they needed 4 samples a year one for each season did that for a few years !!!!! As well as did many reports to them regarding where I had seen cormorants both in the Ottawa and petawawa river areas as tey were just starting to invade back then !!! When we were running our salmon charter boat as well we did scale sampling for the MNR as well for a summer !!!!! So it all helps whatever you can do right ???
