  2. Just got back from Wally in Woodbridge (27 location) getting " artichokes (small) to go with my BBQ lamb " on Sunday and they have rack full of Bush beans 'homestyle and vegetarian'. She (wife) looked at me kind of, what the . . . Do you want with those, hey since I'm paying don't ask, OFC thing I hope . . . Us and canned stuff don't go hand in hand but I'll try them eventually and will report the findings. BTW they were $1.57 a can.

  9. Thank you for your kind words everyone. We just got back from an amazing send off, which was ended off with a luncheon for 100+ . A Family tradition to take care of your guests after a long day, which started at 6:45 am. I would like to express a special thanks to YRP for their detailed escort to various locations in York Region and an added special detail when the officers were at the end of their duty at the gate to salute my mom's coffin as it entered Wesminster Cemetary. I hope F&A can relate as I have only met one of them on a pleasent and cordeal circumstances. Again thanks to all.
  10. Irish, we spoke while back about our upcoming challanges in private and public. Today mine came to peaceful end. We are going to miss her. Hopefully yours will come many , many years down the line, hopefully never. To all OFNers read Irish's by line. how true. A truly sad for our family , we have many years of memories. Albert

  16. Tried that on our farm just outside Alliston many years back. The weather station guys near Baxter came over and weren't happy, tires in the high grass did darken the skies!

  19. I haven't followed the Leafs for many year Dan, but that was great report. I did have work buddy who' s roommate was Verb Buffy (ref) and had memorable nights at the hot stove in the old gardens.
  20. I have a 1995 Grand C 370+ km parked in my garage since last July, amazing Engine. Could not bring myself to sell it. Two small rust spots but no flor problems that I can see. But I may. . . A good reliable vehicle all around. Good luck with your 91
