  1. It was rough out there yesterday. For these 2 guys I guess the lure of catching fish on opening w/e was too great. They ventured out in a canoe in 30-50 kph winds on a BIG pond. Common sense should have worked here. Sad for their families
  2. Cliff-wasn't trying to start it by turning the blade, Was only saying that the pull cord is very hard to pull AND the blade is quite tight as well.
  3. when I tried to turn the blade by hand-very hard compared to last summer. Does that mean it needs to be lubed?
  4. Tried to fire up the mower for the first time and was really hard to pull. I checked under and its the blade that looks a little rusty and really stiff. Would 3 in 1 do the trick?
  5. aaaaaaaaaactually Roy-this year bass AND muskies both open on June 13. This year it may not be a great thing.
  6. Sorry Pauline-your dreams of a new nation are just that now-only dreams. This time my ballot counts. There was a black shade around the candidates check box so very hard to have your ballot thrown out due to improper check marks.Well done Elections Quebec. You learned well after the ballot debacle / fiasco during the last referendum.
  7. a fortyfive lb 'ski headshaking violently 36 inches from your shoes can do that too. "please don't get off please don't get off please don't get off". she didn't get off.
  8. walleye weights do look deceiving in photos. I dropshotted up a 10 lber near Cornwall once and in my pics it really looks 6-7 lbs tops.
  9. X Country skiing. Free style (skating) is the most taxing event in the games-even more than 5000/10000m speed skating. Brings back old memories when I used to do the Canadian Ski Marathon from Lachute Qc to Hull.
  10. North of Kawarthas is very nice too-Apsley area. A bit more rustic and less populated. I found many Kawartha lakes to be shoulder to shoulder with homes-esp Pigeon.
  11. me thinks you are all incorrect but hey-that's just my opinion Jack
  12. says filming starts in the spring. Freedom of speech prevails.
  13. Joey-your part of RH looks much diff than the area that my Bro lives in. Much nicer with the big ol trees.
  14. As bad as you guys in Toronto got it (and I DO feel bad for the ones suffering) it does not even come CLOSE to what I went through back in '98. Multiply it by 5 (total days) and then you can really relate. Most affected had no power for 7-12 days. The military was called in to help clear the trees. I think it was something like 30-50 mm each day. Fond memories. Good luck with the clean up. We just got ice pellets today-no biggie.
  15. how about the Christmas gift/bonus that will not be made. Some carriers make huge at year end.
