  1. When the rest of the league finds out it only costs $5000.00 to cross check Marchand in the neck! HH

  2. Took the boat out for the first time of the season yesterday...good news and bad. Boat worked great as it always has since I owned it, but when winching it up the last few feet on the trailer the winch stopped working. It was like the gears got stripped or something. Today I pulled the winch mount off...it was secured with 2 bolts. Do replacement winches usually have a universal bolt pattern?

  5. I know the one I got from princess auto 15y ago had many different mounting holes. It’s a two speed with a strap. I put it on low gear because I don’t back in very far and i winch the boat on.

  6. Hi all, Went back to a fun walleye puddle , a month ago the bite started at 11am but this time we had to wait until 2pm, then it was game on! Fishing in around 4 feet of water is fun, the motion of setting the hook practically lands the fish…. Lol. Nothing fancy… 1/4 Oz jigs in orange/chartreuse jigged with a tail hooked minnow seemed to be the best, and definitely needed to jig, not a single set line got hit. We got our limits and then some, bite would be non stop for 5 minutes with everyone pulling fish out, then quiet for 10 minutes before it would kick off again.

  7. Pretty crazy stuff. Side imaging is still very useful as a tool and provides a lot that Livescope can't. Having the historical data with side scan where you can drop waypoints around structure is useful... and then you can scope the crap out of it to find fish. I'm a tech guy so i like all this stuff... but from a cost perspective.... yikes. I went with the original PS-22 Panoptix transducer... 1/3 the price, less power consumption, no black box. Still a huge upgrade from a jigging application perspective... forward vu is obviously lacking in comparison to LS but is still useable. Its really just a gateway setup lol.

  8. One of the competitors from the BassMaster Elite tournament in Texas this weekend. 4 units on the dash, and another 3 up on the bow...Looks like he has more screens than NASA Mission Control in Houston...

  9. Hydrogen is volatile for sure but from what I have read it is safer than gasoline. Both fuels are dangerous if there is a leak and there is enough oxygen with an ignition source. Gasoline being a liquid can be more dangerous if there is a leak because it can spread over an area and remain there for a long time with the possibility of igniting the gas and its vapors while hydrogen leaks and escapes into the air it is dangerous if the concentration of hydrogen and oxygen is high enough along with an ignition source. (Like in the Hindenburg) In fact the Hindenburg's fire was mostly due to the diesel fuel that was used to power the engines and a flammable lacquer on the outside of the ship. There seems to be little concern that hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are more dangerous than gasoline powered cars with internal combustion engines.
