  1. It is just getting started, but I am building a small supported group of buyers. With their word spreading,it will ,I hope, get more customers. Added a new curing machine to my UV bugs. Usually I would just set them up on a tray and put out on the warm sunny days to get a full nice cure, but those days are not here yet, so,I have been using this thingamabob nail UV hardening thing I bought from Micheals. I give a quick blast with the UV light to get the UV set, then put the bugs under the suntanning bed to give it a full cure while I continue tying more . Seems to work well. These two lots will be heading out tomorrow. One fella is doing great this week. Working weekends now and the opener on Saturday,I was unable to fish with my oldest and my grandson for his first ever opener. Turns out he had a great day with his dad, and caught his 1st rainbow. When I watched the video, it was a very proud moment. Sorry for the F BOMB https://www.facebook.com/100014493846282/videos/682287036413839/ My day to fish will be Thursday. Busy, busy, busy.

  2. At the end of the day remember this is a hobby that you enjoy don't make it into a less enjoyable job. Very nice looking bugs for sure. Art

  6. This works for either regular white or a medium rye bread. If you're making white just use 3 3/4 cup white, for rye split as below. 2 1/4 cups white flour, 1 1/2 cups rye flour (bulk barn). 1/3 cup sugar, pinch of salt 1 pack of Fleishmans fast rising yeast and 6 teaspoons of Fleishmans bread booster. 1 1/2 cups of milk and 4 tablespoons butter (no margi, yuck). Mix dry ingredients in the mixer bowl, warm the milk for about 2 minutes in MW with butter til it's melted, stir and add to the dry mix. I run the mixer with the dough hook for about 4 minutes on #2 speed. Pre heat oven to about 150F for a couple minutes and turn off. Take the dough and knead it for about 2 minutes on a floured surface, and fit into a 9x4 inch bread pan, spray with PAM, (I prefer glass pan). Put into the oven for about 45-50 mins or until doubled. Take out of oven, preheat to 350F, insert loaf pan for about 23-25 minutes. Take it out of loaf pan onto a cooky grill and let it cool. Store in a paper bag, plastic will make it sweat too much. If the smell doesn't make you drool, you have covid. I found the Fleishmans bread booster made a big difference.

  7. Hey everyone thanks for the responses, I have called several dealers and Evinrude does not make part for this particular style of piston. Mike Marine was one of the largest Etec dealers in Ontario and Mike told me that this particular assembly can not be rebuilt with OEM parts. Luckily I was able to find a used unit close by for 1/4 of the cost. Just a warning to everyone out there in case they have a similar issues. Also not hitting rocks on the French River will also keep you from having this issue.

  8. Sorry man, I closed my shop last Sept, after 42 years of head-scratching, unusual jobs. Jobs that the gremlins were too slippery to catch, the first few times out fishing for them. You seem to have trust in the shop you're dealing with, give him as many kicks at this as he is willing to. If this gremlin doesn't want to show his head while at the shop, all he can do is try this or try that and see what happens? Maybe have your guy throw a used throttle body on it; just for worst and giggles? There are tons of Caravans in the wrecking yards. If your Tech has a good repour with a yard and explains the issue. The wrecker' would likely refund or just lend him one for the test? I know as a Tech, we shouldn't just be throwing parts at a vehicle; but if the gremlin has you by the balls you may have to start fighting dirty as well. Dan.
