Years ago I caught a fish. Thanks to this board I was invited out fishing. We went to a place that’s hard for me to fish in my boat so it was nice to go. I didn’t have much to bring to support the now many trips. So I tried to be a good guy to fish with. I know that sometimes that’s all other people need. Now the important part. On my wall beside my chair there is an 8x10 of the first Muskie I caught on Georgian bay. Must be ten years ago I guess. I just wanted the driver of that boat to know I still say thanks.

A while back,I asked about posting on other social media to get my fly,s, and bugs out there. Instagram was suggested,but I could not get a grip of it. l was a FB non guy. Hearing Bull stuff. Well I broke down and joined up. I have joined some really great groups. All fishing related. I have been able to post my creations on most of them and they seem to be welcomed. I have been doing better then I thought and the areas they are going is unreal. Heck,I am even selling state side. It,s not big money. Like I said before,it,s a fun hobby for me now and I get back cost of materials and a few dollars in my pocket. This past weekend,I spend a few dollars I made on a draw. I was surprised to win on my first attempt. This pin is a work of art. Quality is nothing I am use to. Something,I would never buy, as it is out of my budget. Very happy with this. Can not wait for the tribs to break open. Oh like it is said,never forget your roots. I am still a loyal OFC guy.

Great camera work. the wood was last barely light enough to be landed. When I was reeling it in it was swimming like a real fish. Best fight ever.

Wow. That’s some basement. Think it was considered natural/nickel. Single Colorado blade. Mind you, I was only half way serious, I’d have to mortgage my house if I had to come up with enough cash to buy a box of musky baits at todays prices. I think the last time I bought one it was from Lebarons and was about 12 bucks. Thought it expensive then!

A friend caught this on a Simcoe bug on Wed. Can't wait to try my Misfish specials!!(His actual smile much bigger than the one shown)
