My father in law asked a tech at a Marina/boat repair shop after his boat got messed up from dock rash what he used to get any hard water off of it, CLR diluted with water is what he was told. I recently bought a 16' side console myself and it had pretty good buildup on the hull. I used ¾ water to ¼ CLR and sprayed it on, everything came off great with a little soft scouring pad scrub1 point

I've used electronics but I probably wouldn't go this far. I'm not a tourney fisherman, and I kind of prefer enjoying the scenery. wolsley bay and the west arm are stunning enough that all I worry about are the granite prop killers to each their own I 'spose1 point

Don't you think that some of this is just getting a little too much for catching fish the size of bass? I'm sure it helps to catch fish and can be fun at times, but....I guess I don't know what I'm saying. Way too much money sitting in front of him....probably the value of my whole boat. LOL1 point

I found it to be similar to mosquito coils or a repellent candle, but I have been disappointed by the very high cost of running the unit so I retired it. I will try to sell it. Hopefully a rich guy with plenty of money to throw away will take it.1 point
