This year I sold my pop up hut, and started running a 2 man flip over. The things must weight 150 lbs loaded with gear. Even empty, it's very heavy. It has the fold down bench seats and heavy metal poles. Throw a 20lb tank and a buddy heater, 2 fish finder, 15 beer, etc..... It was such a pain in the butt this early season lifting the hut on and off my old wooden Smitty. So I designed and build a folding Smitty. Build it last week at work with a few long nights. And was able to test it this weekend. I would say it's a success!! Just pull to detent pins, and the entire hut drops down on the ice. Put your foot on the ski, and lift one side up, and it swings up almost effortlessly. Sure will make the run and gun faster !!!

Hi all, My wife decided she was going for supper in town before coming home with Jack. Good job i'm not one of those guys that either expects or relies on their spouse to cook for them. Not having made any supper plans myself I decided to hop on the Skidoo and get a couple of Crappie for a sammich. I returned 20 minutes later with two nice ones and cooked up a storm. Crappie, bacon and avocado on rye and pumpernickel with home made potato chips seasoned with crushed peppercorns and rock salt....YES. Only problem was I only got half the sammich as the wife and kid returned and I left half the meal to them on the kitchen table and fled for my life!

Finally got on the bay this morning. To my surprise,we had 5-6 " of solid black ice. Managed a bunch of herring and a whitie. Lost one near the hole. Fished with a bunch of buddies. My oldest even made it out this morning with us. Terry having a nap Hey fishfarmer, it,s still getting used. Gave it to my son.

Didnt I say this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ all ? LOL LMAO David knows I am joking around. Hope ya all do too. LOL Flipping for buckets, I will tie direct in stained water and heavy cover.

I also read it completely. There was no reason for them not to give me my money back, that is why they eventually gave me 2000, after a MASSIVE fight. So now I am out $500. Am I gonna take them to court over 500? No...too much trouble. That my friend is an absolute scam. Try to steal my 2500, but if you know I am gonna put up a fight, just give 2000 back to shut me up and make it so I won't go to court. The clause they referred to in my "denial" letter didn't even exist! Over and over I asked them to send me proof of this clause in my contract...nobody ever did. In my case it was a clause that I had to provide service records. This clause was NOWHERE to be found, yet it was what they tried to use to not give me my money.

The folks at Ogopogo resort are a great resource for ice conditions. They keep several huts all season, and keep a good eye on the ice. The folks at Minden Bait and tackle don't know the difference between a pike and a whitefish.

I must say this has been a very interesting thread that I've enjoyed following. It really ticks me off too hearing about these corrupt dealerships and credit agencies that have to damn well know that they are screwing folks and for the most part can get away with it against the average Joe. Great on you guys for fighting back and recouping your coin. I strongly suggest taking Chris up on his offer, his ruling could even set a precedent for your own issues. Lastly, if it was me that had to go through this crap I would still be super ticked even if I got all my money back and I would want to get back at them for sure. Obviously for one citizen it's hard to go against big corp, but this sounds like the perfect issue for the investigative news media to latch on to, like Market Place or The Fifth Estate. Can you imagine the potential class action lawsuits. I can't imagine a better revenge ? Good luck guys. Cheers

It's not just the money, it's the stress and headaches I can see Rizzo, iionly and Kverde have gone through that really ticks me off. iionly or Kverde, if you want a wingman, pm me, I'd enjoy helping out, like I said before I've been through the process, I had a dealership and Ford Credit screw me and then blame each other so I served them both and let the judge figure it out, and figure it out he did

Hey John It,s the best ice in the bay right now as it,s been solid up for a week. The fishing is ok. It,s my first ice spot til other areas firm up. It made another 1.5 " over night, -18 at 6am this morning when I was all set up. I was sitting in the same area as yesterday and had 7" this morning. It,s not the same all over. Knowing the bay and it,s habits is a big plus. Another nice thing about this spot is parents can take their kids out . Not a long walk and can catch perch,herring ,smelt and white fish.

The artificial lure requirement has been removed from the regulation. Now all trebles count as a single hook regardless of whether or not they are attached to an artifical lure. These should be perfectly legal.
