Ice fishing hartley bay?

Has anyone or does anyone know if we can drive through the Heartly Bay Marina during the winter. Use the boat launch and drive an ice hut out on to the bay for a weekend of ice fishing? Thank you in advance for the info.

Call the marina and see if that's a thing.    Lots of current in Hartley Bay.

I called and spoke to the gentleman.  I didn't ask what conditions are like in the winter. I did ask if I could use the launch to head out.  I've personally never been, even in the spring/summer but was hoping to get out there for the hard water. 

 I wouldn't think there was strong current in that area  judging by maps but thank you for the heads up. I'll keep an eye on safety

I'm not sure brother, I've never been but it's on to try out list this winter. When I get the chance I will report

I not been there in the winter, but I can tell you that the drive way to water level is pretty darn steep. I have to think that if not regularly cleaned, it could be a night mare getting in and out.

That ramp is like a ski hill.  Steepest ramp I've ever used.

Does Hartley get safe ice? I have fished it in the spring and LOTS of current.
