captpierre
Water was 78 F yesterday. Pretty heavy algae bloom. Not having any luck. I guess it’s chicken again for dinner.

crappieperchhunter
Not sure what your targeting but I have pretty much been getting a feed of bluegills every week at my shore spot. Still using your fish recipe beansie, just got back from the grocery store buying ginger and oyster sauce for it as a matter of fact.
captpierre
I see lots of bluegills around humps at the north end of the lake. I don’t target them unless I need some action for the grandkids. The eyes seem not to be on the weed edges any more. Tried trolling deeper with divers. Nada. Don't forget the fresh garlic and green onion and I like a few drops of sesame oil at the end of cooking !

Never forget the fresh garlic, I have tons every year from my garden. But I have dropped the green onion and sesame oil. Still can't thank you enough for this recipe. Debbe who still is NOT a fish lover is happy every time I make it and there is NEVER any leftovers. My apologies captpierre...hijacking your thread was never my intention. AKRISONER
September transition is always hard on everything. Guys aren’t catching any bass either, it always seems like there’s a light switch that goes off, the fish go from their summer jaunt, to ok it’s time to eat everything in site over the course of a two week period. Green onion and a little sesame oil not necessary other than to give the dish a bit of a finishing touch
