Loved that man... mister showman on ice ...he will be missed

I now sit on the fifth hole of his golf course. Loved watching him.
When he owned the course I heard from a reliable source that he would ride a golf cart down Clarence while tipsy and go get pears at a house near Hwy 7. 
He also sold Christmas trees at Bathurst and St Clair for a few years. 
 

kinda like Mr B, happy  go lucky type of a guy.

Yes, I played on his course many many years ago. I even had a hole in one on a par 3 there.  Dang forgot all about that til you mentioned it Albert.

My wife's family cottage on Sturgeon was right down the road of Eddies. She told me that he would load up his golf cart with his dogs and go out and visit the neighbours to the delight of all the kids. Great man!

My memory is not like it use to be, but I am sure it was the course on the corner of hwy 7 and the long extension of Rutherford rd from Brampton? There was a par 3 that was on top of a large drop off. It was my favorite hole of all. It was not the hole you wanted to be drinking and looking over. LOL

Hwy 27 and Rutherford,  North east side, yes that would have been quite the drop.  All homes now and the ones on the cliff are pricy!

Ya, hwy 27, see memory going. I need to take a memory ride. Hope I do not get lost. LOL

 I met him as a little kid 

He was selling Christmas trees somewhere in Willowdale
