Ontario is now a restricted fire zone

Starting April 3 Ontario's entire legislated fire region will be designated a Restricted Fire Zone.  One of the reasons is to ensure the province's emergency response systems stays strong.

And if you insist on having an outdoor fire and you burn your house down NO INSURANCE plus you may be on the hook for fire fighting related costs. Our county has been on a no burn policy since this C-19 thing started and I read the counties regs. on fires during a no burn period.

In the Kawartha's every year there is a long fire ban and it started on Monday here.

So far the province's ban it doesn't apply to most of southwestern Ont. 

But some places have local restrictions.
