jimmer Posted September 27, 2019 Report Posted September 27, 2019 That is one sweet looking ride! Always nice to hear of someone keeping their car from their youth. 2

Son gets this car and since we've lost a kid I sold Leah's old Vette and we're now down to two classics. I guess the Daughter gets the SuperBird then, if I don't sell it while I'm at Talladega (with it) in 12 days. Test loaded today for position and tie down logistics for the 20 hour haul to Bama next week. Wayne is it too late to adopt me? You get down there safely and enjoy yourselves. 1

Probably OI, I'm too old to look after children! LOL.. ... I got married in '82 with $13.84 cents in the bank and Leah had a grand.. so I married for money! Only to find out her Mother had froze her bank account! 2

They say the 1st time you marry is for sex, the 2nd time for love and the last time for money. I have only married once. The gal I've been with for the last 27 years is too stuck on the love thing, I am too.

irishfield Posted September 27, 2019 Author Report Posted September 27, 2019 LOL Shayne... it might need a new engine by the time I get back. Watching oil usage isn't gonna be fun every 200 miles to Bama and back !
Old Ironmaker Posted September 28, 2019 Report Posted September 28, 2019 Ford offers over 950 different versions of the F-150. They might get it right one of these days. I admit Rams are pretty trucks. Personally I don't need a cooler under the rear passenger seat I'd rather have the reliability of a good old Chevy 350 ci.
