tomO Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 I was diagnosed with parkinsons in 2013, I'm about maxed out on my meds and the relief time they provide keeps shorter and shorter. My last visit to the neurologist at the Cleveland clinic they suggested DBS (deep brain stimulation) surgery. I was wondering if anyone here has had this procedure done or know anyone who has. Thx.
lew Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 Can't help you at all with your question Tom but best of luck in the future.
John Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 There is a huge amount of information online Tom, including an article from the Mayo Clinic.

tomO Posted September 26, 2019 Author Report Posted September 26, 2019 Ok thanks you guy's, I've read up on it, I thought it would be nice to get some first hand info if I could.
David Chong Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 Not sure about that procedure but I hope that if you try it that it works for you! My father suffered from Parkinson's for many years before he passed a few years ago! Best of luck!
