Confirming Kawarthas Zone 17 bass opener

Just want to make sure I am correct.

Bass opens on the 3rd Saturday in June. So today is first sat so bass opens Sat June 17th. Correct?

Planning on fishing on the Monday after so prior to bilking work off

It is earlier than before. It used to be the last Saturday in June; then the fourth; now the third. It will also open later in years when June starts on a Sunday.
