Chaudiere Lodge -- French River!

Hey folks,

 

Heading up for the May long weekend 19th-22nd.

Just wondering if anyone has been there or has any feedback?

 

$495 including boat, food, bait, etc...seems like a great deal for that weekend!

 

We'll be targeting walleye and pike.

All I can say is to bring worms. I know most of us like to use artificial baits, but the worms will help if the bite is slow.

Great Lodge, Steve is a gracious host. You'll love the place, especially if you play guitar! Can't help you with the fishing as I've only fished there for Muskie.

thats a great price,especially if it is canadian dollars. i've seen some of the tv shows that have taken place there, looks like a great spot.

personal experience fishing pointe au baril

 

in the spring the fish wont hit a minnow they only want worms...it the fall, the fish wont eat a worm all they want are minnows.

My son and I stayed there had a good time . We fished Muskies but caught several nice Walleyes and Pike on our Muskie lures . We also stayed at the Lunge Lodge a couple trips its not to far from Chaudiere Lodge . Have a good trip .
