G.mech Posted January 1, 2017 Report Share Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) There are reports on the Lake Simcoe board but they're all bad.....poor ice now, warm temps & windy forecast makes for a bit longer of a wait I'm afraid. The latest one says there is some ice from Beaverton out to Thorah Island but it's sketchy with open water beyond that. Beans Posted January 1, 2017 Report Share Posted January 1, 2017 I just checked the cooks bay report...about ten or fifteen feet out from shore (west side) there is a bit of ice then the bay is all open water...cold temps starting Wednesday...I'd guess a couple more weeks...
