mike rousseau Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Hey everyone... In the spirit of continuously learning... I picked up some wiggle-glo beads... It's like a spin-n-glow but has a flat face so it wiggles like a crankbait... I'm gunna be trying them for walleye this weekend... Just wondering if anyone here uses them? What species do you catch on them? How do YOU rig them? Bait or no bait? I was gunna rig em exactly like a regular worm harness but swap the blade for the wiggle-glo...
BillM Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 If you catch a salmon, don't be surprised :)
dave524 Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 (edited) If you catch a salmon, don't be surprised :) look a lot like the "peanuts" that guys use for Lake Trout, usually behind a gang troll or cowbells. edit: if they work for you might want to try some Spin and Glo's as well Edited September 18, 2014 by dave524
Joeytier Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Looks like a kwikfish with a line of beads instead of a body. Looks like a lake trout and speck killer
miller Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 Definitely is the same as a peanut Dave, laker go stupid when you drag them around behind a lake troll!
Steelheadphycho Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 That is a real neat pattern. I'm interested in the results. Good luck and keep us posted.
mike rousseau Posted September 19, 2014 Author Report Posted September 19, 2014 Well in glad you all think they'd be good for trout... Lol.., Hopefully the walleye feel the same... Now as far as rigging... Is my set up correct? In your opinions?
glenner Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 My buddy has several of those rigeed almost exactly as per your picture and trolls them with a minnow for walleye with good success. Been meaning to try them myself.
