Who woulda thought, I read a reply by Stoty that mentioned drop shot'n pan slammers for crappie, Well I got tired of the slip bobber and switched to a drop shot and the crappie crushed it!! tried again tonight even the bluegills love this technique! Throw in the odd 3lbs bass and game on you got yourself a great outing lol

I've found a lot of times they'd hammer the dropshot weight on the way down, lol. Switched up to small micro tubes solved that problem.

forget the dropshot - I like going after my crappie with a micro crankbait! :o) Dropshots work great though... nice haul!

 

I love micro cranks and mini spinnerbaits! They smash them!
