Very thick fish that gave me a great scrap on a medium light rod I had borrowed - thanks Andrew! Good thing he brought extra rods... because in my haste that morning I left my entire rod case at home LMAO! I love the darker colour on many of the fish this year, anyone have theories why? Diet? After taking up ice fishing 5yrs ago, it's hard not to think about chasing lakers all winter - I enjoy it more than winter/spring steelhead now.
